Selena opened her eyes hesitantly, glaring slightly at the cheerful mendicant. She tugged on her chains, dearly wishing she could rub her eyes, and settled on drawing her knees up and rubbing them there instead.

Then her attention was drawn to the partially-collapsed tent. What in the name of Selune...

((BTW, Selune is a name I pulled randomly out of my butt, and can be changed. It's supposed to be the goddess Selena worships :)))

'Lazaka?' Nemele called out again, softly approaching the tent. 'Is there anything I can do to help? I know quite well that wearing chains like that takes some time to get used to. Here, let me...' She knelt down and began to untangle the cloth bunched up around Lazaka, and froze for a moment when the woman came into view.

'Oh. My,' she said quietly. 'This is unusual. Did you...' She glanced over to Tremain, and gestured. 'Did he..?'

Lazaka squirmed in a vain attempt to move to a less exposed state. however, the awkwardness of her bindings, and her cloth tangled legs, simply wouldn't allow it. So she lay on her side, her lighter colored stomach and chest fully exposed. Her mother's mammal heritage showed loud and clear in her shapely body. And the question hooted at her by many a bar patron was answered, she did indeed have nipples.

"Mrhwm?" she blinked confusedly as she tried to anwser through the muzzel. Still waking up, she followed Nemele's gesture and furrowed her brow. Suddenly her eyes went wide with realization and she seemed to wake up the rest of the way. That very moment the muzzle seemed to melt away from her face and flow into the collar she wore.

"No! I didn't, we didn't..." she blurted out, and then paused as she realized that she could talk "What the hell?" she said, mostly to herself, as she crossed her eyes to look at where the muzzle had been only moments before. A quick thrash of her body confirmed that the rest of the chains were still firmly in place though.

(Hey, my computer's fixed again!)

Nemele furrowed her brow as well as she looked down at the dragon-woman. She made no move to see to Lazaka's modesty, but rather, reached down and gently cupped her cheek.

'That was odd,' she mused softly. 'You had a clever little gag here a moment ago, didn't you? And you didn't go to bed with one. That is odd...' She sat back in a very prim kneeling posture, staring in Lazaka's direction, though not really looking at her. 'Those chains you have there must be quite valuable. I'd love to know where you got them.' She glanced over to Tremain. 'I'd thought he'd enchanted them or something, but you said no... Hmm. I do hope this doesn't interfere with a locksmith's work!'

"The chains?" Lazaka said sheepishly, steadily growing a deeper shade of red as she blinked the sleep out of her eyes "They said some adventurers sold them. Apparently didn't bother to see if they were magic and just sold them as chains. After the village figured out what they were they started waiting for a wealthy enough buyer to come by. Drenan called in a few favor to let me use them... Er, I mean to have them used on me."

Lazaka paused for a moment, seemed to forget her own problems "Oh dear, I hope the others aren't upset that I left with them...."

She wore that worried expression for a moment, but looked to Nemele again as she asked about the enchanting.

"Well, Tremain tried to enchant them," Lazaka sighed "But it didn't work.... I think."

Lazaka shut her eyes and seemed to be focusing really hard on something. After a few moments she struggled with renewed fervor. Giving an exasperated yell as she found herself just as stuck. She angrily thrashed and bucked until she was out of breath. Ending up uncomfortably on her back, or rather arms and shins, breathing deep ragged breaths.

"Didn't.... work..." she panted. Though a trained eye might be able to tell that the hogtie binding had actually become several links shorter during the struggle. It's added pull now held the dragoness's back at a much more pronounced arch.

Meanwhile, Selena had stood up and moved cautiously closer to the tent, curiosity getting the better of her.

Nemele winced as she looked over the shortening chain. 'This... This ought to be resolved as soon as possible,' she said. 'You're losing chain there, and if this keeps up...' She leaned back a little, examining Lazaka with a critical eye. 'You're going to find yourself in a particular position of supplication that, it is written, should not be attempted by anyone who hasn't been initiated into the appropriate mysteries, lest a terrible fate befall them. I'm informed the fate involves back injuries. Now...' She leaned forward again. 'Try to relax. See if that affects anything...'

"What?" Lazaka replied as he mind unwound Nemele's odd warning.

The idea of her binds shrinking until they injured her seemed to leave her more frightened than relaxed. She squirmed, thinking she could feel the chain shortening with each passing second. Yet, something was doing the trick as the chain was actually loosening. With a final kick of her legs she found that it was now long enough for her to stand.

"What's going on?" she whimpered fearfully.

'I'm afraid it's hard to say,' Nemele said, helping Lazaka to her feet. 'But I rather think we should proceed with caution. Err... Do you have enough slack to walk, there?'

She peered, worriedly, at Lazaka's ankle chains, and then gestured at Tremain and then to the remains of his tent. 'We probably ought to get moving soon,' she said, staring down the road - and a moment later, looked back, quite chagrined. 'You all aren't fasting, are you? You... You need to eat.'

Lazaka squirmed a bit as Nemele brought her to her feet. She turned an even deeper shade of red as she stood there completely exposed and helpless. For a priestess That woman had no sense of modesty at all! Lazaka twisted her arms back and forth trying to find some way to get a little more comfortable, but it just wasn't happening. The robe she had been wearing hung mockingly from her arms. Trapped between the cuffs of her chains. At least it covered her butt a little. She did indeed have enough slack to walk, but was quite nervous at the idea.

It wasn't until Nemele's comment that she realized the woman was walking away. She unconsciously started stumbling towards her. Her leg chain being a different length than she was used to. She slowed as she got closer and thought about what she said.

"Um, no I'm not actually." she said, finally noticing that she hadn't had much to eat since breakfast the day before.

By this point Tremain made his way back into camp. He had a rabbit in each hand and a bewildered expression on his face. This outing just kept getting weirder.

"Well, I just caught some breakfast." He cleared his throat, trying to avert his eyes. "I can get it ready in just a few minuets."
