Chain Girls miniatures, Front view

This isn't the Slave Auction set (I have two), but they are Partha's. They look like the work of the late, great Dennis Mize, one of Partha's greatest sculptures. The man had an amazing knack for detail. I collect Ral Partha, but this set is unknown to me. I'll have to search for it! Nice painting job, by the way. -WW

Pirates & slavers need not be low life. In the past, privateers were commissioned by the king to commit acts of piracy on ships of the king's enemies, & presumably to attack conventional pirates who would attack any ship. Privateers saw themselves as upright & respectable.
