Coil trap
The texture of the restraints looks like a coil trap. The magical wire is laid out in a circular coil which springs to life when the right victim enters the circle. Spinning like a tornado the three coils become more numerous as the diameter of the coils decreases. Spinning, wrapping tighter and tighter as ther coils grow more numerous. An observer would see her clothes and equipment sliced away, obliterated before gathering her arms, restraining her. Invisible coils remain wrapped around her naked body, controlling her further. The coils make her body sparkle in the sun or fire light.

Impractical
Wearing a skirt in that situation is not very practical, the girl in pants can move much more freely.

Time for biology
I guess if I tickly you, or in other ways induce oscillations in you body, the shear stresses this causes will disturb the relaxation process and you will need microdecades or even millidecades to deconvolute the strata.
Do you mind if I forget the subtleties of the theory of geology and rheology for a moment, and switch to enjoy applied science?

So I noticed the writing on her pillory in all of the images in this series. Do you suppose that's the "Occult Artifact"? And how do you suppose she got stuck in it in the first place?
