Well, if hair is immune being animal matter, then Leather too should be immune from consumption.
Metal is a different consideration.

Well, wool is hair, so it is not surprising that clothes-eating nanites would digest any covering hairs too...

Wow, a much more creative outfit than "er, a corset I guess" which is all I could think of. ;) I could still see it being worn by a normal person with a bit of modification (and the optional skirt).
But what really strikes me about this drawing isn't the outfit, it's her expression. There's a hint of disbelief and embarrassment there, but she also looks genuinely much happier than in the previous one. Her hands (and smile) give the impression that she's having to force herself from trying to touch.
I noticed every nanite-affected girl so far has been hairless in certain areas. Is that an effect of the nanites?
