One day the greatest beauty of the land, after living a life of great adventure and amassing great wealth, begged the fairies to return her to her youth. She wished to see her grand and great grandchildren grow up. She had grown old and sick. The fairies thought that one wonderful life wasn't enough? So they agreed and restored her beauty but bound her with her own jewelry. After teasing her for many days they placed a statue of a bound and naked beauty in the lavish gardens of her home. "With 500 days left to live, she watches over her family". Every solstice and equinox she awoke for 24 hours, having felt every touch on her body in an instant. Waking early on the death of her last great grand child. She only awoke on the death of a descendant. On the 500th day the last one died and she turned to dust.
