The door is hanging from a rail in the ceiling, since it had to be transported down the corridor to the wall outside the room you wanted to enter...

Love the Concept

Had I have had the imagination... or more the courage, I'd have loved to put such a door in my old Adult Only AD&D campaign which had a lot of freaky shit in it anyway - but this is a brilliant concept!
