View CommentsThat is Saw-esque cruelty. Not fun or sexy. Posted by Dorphin (guest) on Thu 31 May 2012, 13:06 EDT I feel like such a jerk since it's pretty cruel, but, given that it's only fantasy.. the helpless, doe-eyed look is just the most adorable thing ever. I do like the permanent bondage aspect of your art a little better than stuff that looks like it'd be fatal/painful, however. Posted by Adresude (guest) on Thu 31 May 2012, 13:34 EDT ApplausGood idea. ^^ Easy for making it real. Thx again. Posted by Guest on Thu 31 May 2012, 14:23 EDT Very niceVery sexy. What will she do when the tide comes in? :-> Posted by Andrew (guest) on Wed 06 Jun 2012, 05:28 EDT I think the tide is already in. Posted by 603 (guest) on Wed 06 Jun 2012, 05:45 EDT HmIt doesn't seem as "saw like" as it first appears. To wit, note that all of her restraints have standard padlocks holding them together. While she cannot move herself right now without some effort, anyone who happens upon her will be able to help her out (simply lift her anchor and she can walk), and most padlocks aren't going to stand up to a locksmith -- or even most boat crews. Posted by KiTA (guest) on Fri 08 Jun 2012, 04:37 EDT DisgustingUsed to like your stuff. This is "death" comics. The girl will be dead in 24 hours. Good bye. Really disgusting Posted by MrPadraig (guest) on Sun 17 Jun 2012, 01:30 EDT Horrible but Not HopelessI sort of agree with some of the latest negative comments to this picture as I myself don't like the fatal stuff. Neither do I like empathizing with a story's evil bastards. That's why I prefer them to be just nameless goons. Some further thoughts have been added to the image description. Posted by Grigbertz on Mon 18 Jun 2012, 09:10 EDT MoreWell, who is to say she's on a desert isle? She's on a "remote rocky inlet" -- heck, I know plenty of nude beaches near public beaches that count as "remote rocky inlets", just because they're a bit out of the way. For all we know there's a block of keys next to her, just off screen, waiting for someone to happen upon her and let her out. Or the mysterious kidnappers could have known someone specific lives nearby -- maybe she's the retirement gift to some salty sea dog who has taken up residence in a cabin just out of view. Posted by KiTA (guest) on Tue 19 Jun 2012, 15:37 EDT A possible story behindThe only logical reason I see for dropping her this way, was for someone else to pick her up. Someone already on the island, or someone soon to arrive there. She could be a payment for someone that have trouble with a mafia. The storm has not come yet, but with it upcoming, the risk for anyone intercepting the "transfer" would be less. The poor girl would not be very difficult to handle for those picking her up, probably she would feel lucky. Posted by Birdwatcher (guest) on Tue 19 Jun 2012, 16:20 EDT an adventureMy initial thought when i saw this, was she could roll on her side and grasp the anchor with difficulty. She would find shelter in the caves or local residences, used to seeing girls in such a predicament. Also power trips inc would spark her memory of that contract she sign, the logo on top for extreme adventures at her high end resort village. Also the anchor makes a nice leash for a girl that loves to run off and be chased, the nonpermanent padlock makes the fun possible from time to time. Posted by Yumi (guest) on Tue 19 Jun 2012, 21:03 EDT No problemThe anchor does not dig into the sand, so it can't be heavy. I guess it is a plastic toy, filled with water for weight, and it's leaking! In a few minutes she can walk to a bar nearby and ask "Theethe, han u hethph me?". Posted by Guest on Sun 24 Jun 2012, 16:16 EDT Hot, hot water, Mr. Artist!Well guys lets face it - this picture is qualitatively not much different than, say, "Adamantium is forever", or "Inquisitor", heck there are plenty of pictures here where the fun factor would evaporate very quickly for the girl in question; in the real world, that is. It's just a bit more poignant. Don't get me wrong: Grigbertz is a real artist, and his drawings are pretty unique and extremely well drawn fantasy scenarios. But that does not change the fact one bit that they are disturbing to most, delightful to some. Yet they are fantasy, nothing but. Where is the line in the sand being drawn about what the regular grigbertz addict expects and tolerates? Right here... Posted by Maxmad (guest) on Sun 01 Jul 2012, 23:04 EDT Is it the picture people disagree with? or is the caption the real problem, like the comment before me said, there really isn't much difference in this from "Adamantium is forever". Had Grigbertz captioned it originally with something lighter in tone, say just a temporary bit of bondage fun on a beach, I don't think it would have garnered half the response that it did. As it is I'm actually really surprised at what response it did get! Posted by Myya (guest) on Mon 02 Jul 2012, 10:50 EDT The caption did seem especially cruel to me but I still really like this one. If there were a line of seaweed clarifying how far the tide would come then we might have known. Fear of drowning aside this isn't much worse than about a third of the pics on this site IMO. Posted by Guest on Thu 05 Jul 2012, 09:05 EDT I'm sure Power Trips Inc is just a misunderstood travel agency, dealing in nothing more than extreme vacations (bought for her by a good friend ofcourse). After she's enjoyed her all inclusive for a couple of hours they'll be back for even more extreme vacationing. Posted by Guest on Sun 08 Jul 2012, 21:49 EDT ykinmkThis scenario does fall a bit outside of what I like. But I'd be a damn hypocrite if I condemned the artist for that. You provide us jolly pervs with some of the most glorious and erotic bondage pron available, and you provide it to us for... oh, that's right, nothing. It's stunning work and very generously offered. Posted by Artikano (guest) on Sat 21 Jul 2012, 17:06 EDT horribleIf it was a question of life and death, she really ought to take the pain and let her privates rip. Apart from eyelids, nothing heals as fast as genitals. If you doubt me, you do not want to think about giving birth and what can be done to improve things there. The hands is worse, but she probably could swim... Posted by slemhogen (guest) on Fri 27 Jul 2012, 22:30 EDT Only real shame about this drawing is how all the comments caused a sudden stop to all of his new updates, hopes to see some more real soon. Posted by Yumi (guest) on Sun 29 Jul 2012, 10:27 EDT You're right, Yumi, Grigbertz hasn't posted since this pic. That having been said, he's generally updated the site in fits and spurts so its entirely possible he just hasn't felt like updating lately. Posted by 603 (guest) on Wed 01 Aug 2012, 03:09 EDT Just thought I'd post something positive. This picutre, like all of GBz, is delicious. And it looks like shes on a cliff to me..... Posted by particleastro (guest) on Mon 06 Aug 2012, 21:30 EDT Looks fun. I'd like to be in her position, as long as I had a friend to come get me before the storm. ...Or if they lived near the inlet, after the storm started but before it got too dangerous. =D I wish I could make a bigger smiley... very rarely am I 100% satisfied with what's happening in a picture, I usually always can imagine either more stuff, or harsher stuff going on. But not this one, I think it's about as perfect as one can be! from where her tongue is, to her arms, to just how she's "anchored". simply amazing!
