The trick is probably...

to put the padlock through one side first, with the shackles in front of you, then loop the other one through behind you. Then rotate the padlock against the ground to close. That's the easy part. The hard part is there's no freakin way you're going to get a key into that padlock to get back out again!

Followup

Now this is an image that suits so well for a followup of her predicaments. Could be that someone spied on her and will make use of her bound helplessness. She could have picked the wrong place, behind those bars is perhaps a tentacle monster or a load of snakes. Or some female pixies find her, one running off with the key while others play with her, perhaps doodle on her naked form.

Self bondage eh? I get the distinct impression she doesn't plan to get out for a long time with those locks, and no key in site. Makes one wonder if she stumbled across those items there, and was so "tempted" (Either by her own innate kinkiness, or some sort of magical effect) to get in them.
