If she's the new Factol, why is she chained up like that?

See, I knew there was a story behind this one--it just took a little sharing. Thanks, "Slem." I find it interesting how the art on this site juxtaposes power with restraint. I find it more interesting that I have actually found a proper use of the word "juxtapose"... =)

As the guy who commissioned it, I can tell you that the chained girl is the factol of a new faction (since the free league always claims it's no faction) that concerns psychic powers. The girl behind her is a druid wearing a chaos armour, and is parading her factol around the city.

Really like this one, too. The horn-like bangs, the tattered fringes of the nylons, the curvature of her lower body, the arcs of her wings, the supporting arms--the details all work together, and my eye is pulled to the turning of her head, the prominence of her breasts. The suggestion of the summoning pentagram is great, too. Another one of my favorites. Very, very nice.

I like it. I like how she glows--especially on the floor. Mixed media, I'm guessing--pencil and ink. Very nice.

I like this one, too. Her left fist is clenched, but her face doesn't look too distraught--is this supposed to be "non-consensual" or "all in good fun"? Your sketches are very effective in detailing the "important" elements while suggesting everything else. This is well-balanced and fun.

Back up? Well, perhaps whoever she's challenging is a wuzzie? I think that's what she's after - to bring out the "man" in you. Who cares abnout consequences.

Just can't get enough of this one. My question is: What does she have to back up her "just-you-try-and-make-me-submit" attitude? Is it false bravado? A bluff? "You might take me by force, but I'll never give in," and that's enough of a victory for her? Hmmmm. Maybe I'd better look at some others for a while... =)

Okay, I'm quite sold on the "just you try and make me submit" attitude. I assumed she didn't know what was coming, but she does and she's determined to fight. Awesome! I like it even better now! Definitely my favorite of the lot. Did the model like the finished work?

Faile35@yahoo.com, remember this is a portrait. The model' normal attitude fairly screamed "just you try and make me submit", and though I didn't see the pose, I think a lot of this attitude is in the picture. So I see it as a challenge - which looks about to be answered very thoroughly.
