I thought so too at first but that is not a problem. Notice how the collar and hand cuffs are wide and do not pivot. If they try to sit down, it would wring their necks.

Bug Tavern!
I think she is happy, because it is still light out there. When the night comes it will be a real torture for her to stand there. That lamp over her head will lure all the sticky mosquitos and other insects at her. She will be a one-person bug tavern. :(

Maybe she got punished for wearing a thong to the school dance, and now she's stuck like that for the dance. It could also be one of those strict schools where the girls have to wear the uniform, and they only get one. With the nun running off with the skirt and panties, the girl might be in for an interesting semester.

This would get her into even more trouble, you say? Perhaps that is an ulterior intention; a means by which she would merit even more punitive attention. Clever nun. By the way, I'm intrigued by the difference in style between the two characters; the nun's face styled more realistically by comparison to the more cartoonish face of the girl. Fascinating.

This is not the type of scene I'm accustomed to seeing in the village square, and I would welcome the change. Surely, I'd keep coming up with reasons to head into town. I really like the design of the two pillories, but I'd make one change to them. I'd add a bar across the front of the thighs to prevent the ladies from bending their knees and thus lowering their rumps, holding them in a more stabilized position.
