No, I don't feel this looks any more like Bishop than any other bondage art. In fact, there are many more that copy his style to a T. This is pretty much original in my eyes.

Maybe its used for gladiatorial "games" ala Ultimate Surrender and its gay equivalent? Thus its supposed to look pretty but doesn't have to have too much protection.
