reminds me of a very old cartoon i saw in a collection-i think it was from the New Yorker:
a bored museum guard is leaning on a statue that looks like two men making something with a hammer and anvil...but his elbow is right on the anvil, so it looks like one of the statues is about to hit him over the head with the hammer!
another guard winces and says "will you please lean somewhere else!"

It's been said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I'll ask if this is intentional, as I don't know, but it seems to me that this piece very much resembles the style of the late Robert K. Bishop. But even if I was unfamiliar with Bishop's body of work, I'd still love this piece. Superb. Thank you for posting it.
