A Mega Corp in the field of corporate magic. Ascension Corp and their arch-enemy Deviant Inc both use magic, but have different public image. Ascension Corp supposedly use benevolent "good" magic, but Deviant Inc go for the "evil" black magic image.
In reality both corporations are neither good nor evil, but simply profit oriented. Desipte this, there are occasional rumors that some divisions of the corporations have actually started to believe their public image.
