Indigo persuades Midori to remove her panties and tie them to Rebel's guitar. Big success. Indigo triggers stage F/X. Panty rain from the audience.

Mermaid Gambit

Investigation:

It's the three bathing maids that have been kidnapped - by Yakuza.

Investigation. Mah-jong piece discovered - "red dragon". Rumors of a high-stakes illegal gambling joint, run by yakuza. Mah-jong piece examined by Midori - has at some time been exposed to sea water.

The mah-jong joint is in a sea-side resort - a tower out in the ocean, with a long covered bridge out to it. Web search reveals that the female staff dress in really short Cheongsam-style dresses.

Sneaking in:

Next day. Beryl borrows bicycle and a suitable Cheongsam, Indigo disguises as hair ornament. Rides bike to seaside. Forgot panties.

Guard at bridge. Beryl charmes him, and is taken for servant girl. Sneaking into the maintenance corridors. They stumble into kitchen. Given delivery to penthouse by kitchen staff - tea and cookies.

Elevator up. Enters penthouse. Elderly japanese man with bodyguards. Indigo hides in flower pot. Beryl leaves, and decides to sneak over roof to penthouse's balcony/garden.

Boss of the place enters, and a to Indigo boring economics discussion takes place. The boss of the place was supposed to lose money, so that protection money from shipping could be laundered. Now the gambling is so profitable that the money laundry is jeopardized. Make no waves!

Indigo hides in pocket of boss. Beryl scrambles to get back to penthouse door. Manages. Boss orders her go to the bar and fetch him a stiff whiskey, and serve it in his office.

Indigo rides boss' pocket to office. Boss studies his spreadsheets. Office in bottom floor, just above sea level. Lots of big aquariums. Beryls bends over studying the aquariums and boss is fascinated by her backside. Beryl and Indigo leave. After a while a thud is heard, and when the girls peeks into the office, it is empty.

Behind the desk is a hatch. Opening the hatch shows a shaft down into the sea. Beryl removes the dress, and jumps in. Carrying Indigo in the upside-down whiskey glass, diving bell style. Indigo drunk by fumes.

Under the Sea:

Swimming down into the ocean. Sloping ocean floor. Something moving deeper below. Swim down.

Some kind of palace is down there. Approaching. Discovered by a pair of Yakuza merman guards. Captured. Beryl passes out due to lack of oxygen, and Indigo passes out because she is drunk.

Coming to in storage room. Expertly bound shibari-style. Guard notice they are awake. Take them to the boss in his tea room. Verbal sparring ensues. He forced the bathing maids - who are mermaids - back to the clan to use for marriage. Greedy guy.

Beryl lead back to the storage room. Beryl liberated by Indigo (?). Discovering crawlspace under false ceiling. Off searching.

Found the three missing girls sleeping together in a room, with a guard outside. Jumping the guard, and starting to choke him with a leg-lock. One of the girl jumps into the fight and knocks the guard out with a tea pot.

Indigo and Beryl splits up. Beryl escorts the girls to the entrance, while Indigo is off enchanting the boss' tea. Makes the tea turn him female so that he will have someone to marry off - him-, now herself. Succeeds. Angry female screams.

Meetup at the entrance. The three maids turn into mermaids, and with a little effort they do the same to Beryl and Indigo.

Take the scenic tour back through the moon-lit ocean, up the river, and the creek, through an underwater entrance, finally ending up in the Manor's bath.

Making a Cake

Maids gathered by Head Maid. Lots of unfortunate incidents lately, so it is time for something fun. It's Master's birthday, so lets make a competition out of making a cake for him. A number of challenges need to be passed for the key ingredients. Best cake will win.

Must work as teams. Only one in each team may carry the ingredients from the challenges, and that one must wear a locked collar. Beryl wears the collar in Indigo-Beryl team. Collar proves to remove all sense of direction - Beryl gets lost trying to find the door out of the room. Midori is seen, teaming with a robot.

Besides the collar, they get an emergency envelope with a partition for each challenge - if you fail the challenge you can open a partition and get something that solves the problem in an embarrassing manner.

Start. Girls argue a lot, until Indigo finally manages to start steering Beryl around. They get behind in the start, as the other teams scatter in all directions.

Barnyard:

Decides to go to the barnyard for milk first. Shortcut through woods. Another team, in ninja dress, attacks with ensnaring ropes. Beryl avoids first attack, but is ensnared in the second. Indigo frees Beryl from ropes - and clothes.

Barnyard reached. Into barn. First room empty. Cows in second, but way is blocked by a partition with and irate bull. Tries some toreador stuff, but the bull is too strong. The girls are driven back. Notice the bull is interested by the cows. Manages to climb up to the ceiling, balance on the beams, over to cows' partition. Lets the bull into this partition, where it mounts one of the cows. Strategy discussion during milking. Takes double dose of milk, hiding half in the barn, and taking half back to kitchen.

Back to kitchen without incident. Store milk in team locker. Beryl gets a towel.

Orangery:

Next goal - fruits in orangery. Bathing in stream to get clean. Shots from security maid team using SMGs with rubber bullets. Beryl dives, while Indigo hides in basket. Indigo sees one of the mermaid maids below, but keeps quiet. Finally they manage to sneak along the stream, Beryl underwater and Indigo in basket, avoiding the assailants. Quite angry. Towel lost.

Into the orangery. Inside is a jungle - no clear paths. Pressing in among the plants... and finding that some vines move when touched. Tentacle vine attack. Vines concentrate on the juiciest target, Beryl. Indigo persuaded to turn into a sword, and some machete-style chopping ensues. Notice that the plant tries to drag them to the center - which is where they try to go. Beryl decides to concentrate on keeping arms and legs free, which means that they are free to roam her torso... and it enters interesting openings. The sap proves to be very stimulating, making Beryl quite excited as they reach the center.

Fruits there, and a cocoon containing another maid, getting worked over by the vines. Other maid liberated. More vine chopping. Beryl's rose powers used as distraction. Manages to get loose, but the girls are now quite turned on, and they find a soft moss bed to relieve that excitement. Fairy on girl on girl action.

The rescued maid is named Anna - and works in the kitchen, and is well versed in baking. She is also a carrier, so she has the confusion collar. Indigo now must lead two girls without sense of direction. Sneaking back into the house through the stream and the bath.

Relaxing in the bath and getting cleaned up on the way. Amiable chat. New maid dresses from the store. Back to kitchen.

Meeting one team coming back from the chicken coop. They failed there, and have used the emergency envelope, and their carrier, Chizuko, is very distraught - she is laying an egg every ten minutes. Beryl and Indigo does not know that, and think that she has hidden the eggs. They think it is clever.

Chicken Coop:

Off towards the chicken coop. Bluff - using the main road, pretending to not be in the competition, but on an errand into town. Off the road, and sneaking into the woods the roundabout way. Lost at first, but finds the way.

Finds hatch on the back of the chicken coop / rookery. Opens and enters, Indigo leading Beryl on leash, and Anna following, tightly leashed to Beryl. Floor covered with straw - hiding traps snapping bear-trap-like manacles on Beryl and Anna. Indigo must remove Beryls skirt in order to get enough lighgt to see to free the girls from the manacles.

Long zigzagging crawlspace. More traps avoided. Ends in wall with three round openings. Sound of chickens heard. Beryl puts head and hands in openings, which causes the wall to open hatch-like into the chicken coop proper. But part of the wall stays on Beryl, locked as a (pillory style) yoke around her neck and hands. Getting eggs. Decides to carry some eggs openly in Beryl's and Anna's aprons, and some hidden, in case of attack. Eggs inserted first into Beryl, and after some persuasion, also into Anna.

Back to Manor:

Roundabout way back. When they reach the main driveway, a limo passes, and they hitch a ride - which is good, as they have some problem walking with their cargo.

Limo drives up to front door. Grand entrance. Parading through hallways to kitchen.

Beryl approaches Chizuko again, and discovers that she is really laying eggs, not hiding them. Worst, she is clucking whenever she lays one. Beryl gives her a fruit so that she has something to eat to silence the clucking. Unfortunately it is sap-covered.

Making cake. Putting Indigo into cake, dressed in ballet tutu.

The Final:

Head Maid declares six finalists. Cakes wheeled into salon. Head Maid and Master makes the final judgement, and as they scrutinize the team's cake, Indigo jumps out and kisses Master. Bonus points.

Beryl, Indigo and Anna win, and they get to share their cake with Master and Head Maid over tea. Chatting amicably, and when Indigo asks Master about his interests, he hints at being interested in the Theater.

Beryl stays locked into the yoke, as it seems to be locked in some tricky manner similar to a Japanese puzzle box, and is a work of art by a master carpenter. Unfortunately, the competition committee seems to be reluctant to reveal their identities - and reveal how the yoke is unlocked.

Interlude

(This occurs during the three days between the cake hunt win and the prize trip to Hakone detailed below - Indigo's player was not present during this session, thus it was played slightly out-of-sequence.)

Anna, the kitchen maid, has been dosed with a rather large amount of the aphrodisiac secretions of the plant in the orangery. This has two different effects on her: a fixation on Beryl, and a tendency to get aroused by the mere sight and scent of flowers. With Beryl locked up in the wooden yoke, Anna finds her a convenient target to sneak up on and play with, trying to relieve her new needs. When Beryl sneaks out into one garden gazebos to get some fresh air one early morning before Indigo had time to dress her, Anna finds the target irresistible. Disguised in a black uniform, she grabs Beryl from behind, and quickly has her stimulated to the point where "no" isn't an option. The flowerbeds around the gazebo quickly becomes the bed for their lovemaking.

Beryl also wants to check up on Chizuko, the maid that has started laying eggs. As Chizuko belongs to the general, black-clad maid group, just as Beryl and Indigo, her schedule is not hard to figure out. Beryl finds her doing cleaning duty, tidying up one of the guest bedrooms. Talking to Chizuko, Beryl finds out that Chizuko suffers from periodic attacks of extreme arousal. This is something she tried to hide from the other maids, but as luck would have it, one attack is due right now.

As one of the other maids appears, Chizuko hides Beryl in a stuffed chair, sitting on her. This excites her further, so she drags Beryl off behind the guestroom bed, and sitting astride Beryl, she lets Beryl stimulate her, while she pretends to kneel and make the bed, in case someone enters again. Beryl uses her mouth to her best, and when Chizuko finally climaxes, Chizuko starts to strain and push, and finally lays a rather large egg - definitively larger than the chicken eggs she had started with during the Cake Hunt. The process still seems extremely pleasurable rather than painful despite this, though.

Beryl talks to the Head Maid in secret about Chizuko's predicament, and the Head Maid finds it very interesting, and will look into Chizuko's family history to figure out why this increasing and more permanent effect has continued after the Cake Hunt had ended.

With two girls now stalking her, Beryl wants to interest them in each other to get some time to herself, and to let them have some relief during Beryl's impeding trip. Chizuko needs someone who knew her secret to help her climax when she feels the need to lay an egg, and Anna needs someone to work out her flower fixation on. Maybe if you could get Chizuko and Anna to meet in the rose garden during one of Chizuko's episodes?

Beryl asks Chizuko to tell her as soon as she feels the need, at which time she intends to strike. Unfortunately, the message is passed the next morning, again before Beryl has been properly dressed. Semi-nude and still bound by the yoke, she rushes into the kitchen and drags out Anna, to the scandalized reaction by the other kitchen maids.

Anna forgets her protests, though, as she meets the tantalizing and to her very exciting scents of the rose garden. There Chizuko waits, and Beryl gets both girls down on top of her. Getting stimulated by both girls, Beryl finds that when she is really aroused, she can call upon more of the rose powers given her by episode with the Steel Rose. She ensnares both the other girls in rose vines, tying them both together, forcing them to work on each other. Neither disagrees with this, and with general climaxing occurring, Beryl's mission is accomplished - Chizuko and Anna has proven that they could handle the needs of each other.

Travel to Hakone

Talking with the head maid. She finds it interesting that Beryl got caught in just that yoke - she seems to recognize it, bringing out fond memories.

Beryl and Indigo will get to travel somewhere special as a reward for winning the Cake Hunt. Somewhere with a connection to the yoke.

They have three days to figure out how to solve the yoke's riddle, then they will be sent off to get it done at their destination.

Destination proves to be Hakone - a center for special woodcrafts, especially puzzle boxes of all kinds, and one of Japan's premier places for spirits, close to Mount Fuji.

Third day passes, and no luck with getting the yoke unlocked. ("Interlude" above occurs during this time.)

First leg of travel - local train. Bit crowded, especially with the unwieldy yoke. Beryl's pointy ears and the yoke gets a few funny looks, but the passengers manages to figure it out - she must be a cosplayer. Apparently there has been a TV special the day before, showing all the odd things cosplayers do get up to...

Switching train to the Shinkansen bullet train. Get a pair of seats to themselves, which is lucky, considering the yoke.

They purchase a boxed dinner, a bento. Balancing it on the yoke back to the seat. Indigo starts feeding Beryl, but the rice balls and other food items are so large she needs to jump into the bento to lift them out. She gets sticky from sauce, and needs to be licked clean by Beryl.

Train switch again. Local train again, and then switch to the Hakone Ropeway - a gondola lift carrying them up the mountains and over the ravines to Hakone. Mount Fuji appears out of the local mountains and is admired.

Arriving at Hakone. Souvenir shopping, and querying the locals. At the high-quality souvenir place, Indigo is recognized as a spirit, and much honored, at her surprise. The craftsmanship of the yoke is also recognized, and directions are given to the maker.

It is now late, and the pair take a hotel room to start fresh in the morning.

Following directions, they walk through the wooded hillsides. Indigo looks for spirits, but the countryside is oddly quiet when it comes to spiritual activity, especially considering Hakone's reputation.

They arrive at a compound consisting of a major house, Japanese stile, a workshop, and behind the house, a dojo. Outside is an old man.

The old man looks over the yoke, chats about it, and proves to be the master himself.

He talks fondly about the Head Maid. Apparently she has been his pupil in the past.

Now, since the head maid has recommended Beryl, he wants to test her. They are taken to the dojo - which only occupies half the house. The other half is special training apparatuses, into which you are strapped and locked.

The master tests Beryl, and toys with her, but Beryl manages to impress him enough to be considered for special training. Beryl loses her clothes in the process, though.

Suddenly a trio of thugs appears - and demands to fight for the dojo sign - a peculiar Japanese martial arts tradition.

Beryl manages to fight one of the thugs after Indigo changes to sword and helps her, and then the master's student, Rei appears. She defeats a second thug, and then the leader finds it best to retreat.

Rei is disdainful of Beryl and demands a fight. With Indigo as sword, Rei is easily stripped, and runs out embarrassed and bare-assed.

The Lady in White

Indigo sneaks around the house, and secretly helps Rei make dinner, which calms Rei down a little. In the garden, Indigo sees a woman in impeccable white kimono, but with a wild golden-orange hair. The woman bows deeply for Indigo, going down on her knees.

Beryl and Indigo takes a bath, and Indigo discovers an interesting liniment, which has... stimulating effects when applied to other places than sore muscles. As Beryl tries to satisfy the itch that application has caused, Rei walks in on the pair. Shocked by the situation, she tries to flee, running nude into the sensei. He gets a good slap, and Rei storms off.

Well, despite this, all pitch in for the final dinner preparations, and the Kurauchi-sensei tells of the clan's martial arts tradition and its proud records when it comes to defeating evil spirits.

Nighttime. Beryl sleeps on a futon, ungracefully sprawled across it with the cover kicked off. Indigo tries to sleep on one of the ceiling beams, but is woken in the middle of the night by whispering shades, peering down under a lifted ceiling tile. She tries to lure them closer, but they scamper.

Morning. Common breakfast. Rei and Beryl go off for training with the Master, leaving Indigo to roam the house again. She looks for places where the spirits may gather. Finds sacred stone, and sets out offerings there, but nothing appears.

Beryl and Rei trains in the machines, where you need to "defeat" the machine to get loose from its restraints. Since Beryl is a beginner, she has to get rid of her too loose clothing, which may get caught in the machine's delicate workings. When they have had a good workout, Indigo appears with refreshments. Beryl, to her own satisfaction, has not managed to defeat her machine, and is still restrained. She tries furiously a last time, but fails, and has to ignominiously be released by the master.

Common bath time this time - both Beryl and Rei are sore, and more liniment applied. Once again, Indigo manages to apply the liniment to more areas than intended, stimulating both Beryl and Rei. Miniature orgy ensues, especially as some friendly unknown soul leaves a tray of Sake outside the door.

Indigo finally manages to catch a few friendly spirits at the sacred rock, and manage to get from them that they are afraid of "The Eater", and that "Hiroko" is involved in happenings somehow. The spirits are very respectful to Indigo.

At dinner, Indigo asks about the lady in white she has seen, and is told that such a lady has been seen down at the lake shore lately.

The Eater

After dinner, Rei, Indigo and Beryl decides to go look for the lady in white. They go down to the lakeside, and after a while things get very still and quiet, and Indigo notices that Rei and Beryl has fallen asleep in each other's arms. The lady in white appears, and with gestures she indicates that she is mute, and someone has stolen her voice, and wants Indigo's help.

Indigo meets the lady again, and this time she brings writing implements. The lady tells that her name is Hiroko, and "The Eater" has stolen her voice. She needs Indigo's help to regain it. They set a meeting in the forest for this.

When Indigo meets up with Hiroko, Rei and Beryl tries to follow, but Indigo and Hiroko moves with unnatural speed through the forest, and Rei and Beryl gets left behind. Indigo however manages to leave a trail for them to follow.

Hiroko leads Indigo to a narrow opening into the mountain, small enough that only a mouse - or a pixie - can get through. This is the Eater's den, and Hiroko wants Indigo to fetch her voice. Indigo is unwilling to enter, but gets persuaded by Hiroko. When entering, she finds a vast store of knick-knacks, trinkets that represent all the abilities it has stolen from various victims - someones eyesight, musical talent, agility, etc. At first look she cannot find Hiroko's voice, though. Indigo feels trapped, and does not want to stay, so she leaves and meets up with the others.

Together, they formulate a plan. The Eater derives power from his stolen abilities. If they rob him in turn, he will weaken greatly, and desperately, almost mindlessly go for the first victim that he comes across, especially one that appears helpless. This will allow the party to set a trap. Although Hiroko is weakened and voiceless, she can still write a few seals that can form a magic circle, immobilizing the eater for a few crucial moments. Beryl is reluctantly persuaded to be bait in this plan.

Indigo starts ferrying out the Eater's treasure, and the rest carry it into the woods. Among the items, Hiroko finally finds her voice. When the cave has been emptied, Beryl is tied down in the woods outside, Hiroko places the seals around her, ready to activate the circle, while the rest hide.

At nightfall, the Eater arrives, part dark cloud, part mass of tentacles. He pours like an evil smoke down the narrow hole into his den, and after a few moments reappear, furious and desperate.

He spots Beryl, tied down outside, and charges, tentacles flailing. For a few horrific moments, Beryl feels the tentacles grope inside her after... something, until its bulk is close enough for the trap to be sprung. With concerted efforts the team manages to defeat the monster before it can escape, and it evaporates into lifeless slime.

Hiroko greets the local spirits now appearing, and she and Indigo sends them off to return the Eater's treasures to his victims.

To the Hot Springs

Hiroko, the kitsune, has gotten her voice back, so she can explain things:

She was the previous ruler of the spirits in the area, but her powers were stolen and she was ejected from her place of power. This place is an Onsen, where the best and mightiest of Japan's gods and spirits visited. It was the Eater who stole her powers, embodied in her nine tails, as well as her voice. He gave the tails to his unknown mistress, but kept the voice to himself. If she could regain her nine tails, she would also regain her rank and powers. Owning the onsen gave a lot of prestige and rank among the gods and spirits, and it was this the usurper most probably had craved.

Discussions on how to enter the onsen:

  • Can only be entered through a single tunnel, which takes you between worlds into the spirit realm.
  • Best to pose as guests. Only spirits can be guests, however, which means that Beryl and Rei must pose as changelings, humans taken as pets and servants, under Indigo's control.
  • Dress up in pony harnesses, bound to a litter with a small pagoda carried between them, in which Indigo will throne. Harness parts obtained through craftsman contacts of Sensei, and put together by Hiroko and Indigo.
  • Some good-to-have items hidden in the pagoda: Letter from Hiroko to the staff, soy beans, fireworks, magic seals, fans, snacks and candy.

Hiroko's original staff is probably still there. She employed rabbit spirits from the Moon Rabbit clan. They were given human-ish appearance from a magic rock at the onsen, so that they could serve as servants and bathing attendants. Hiroko apparently found it very amusing to lord over a number of rabbits, being a fox spirit. The rock's magic powers would be able to disguise the party as bunny servants, given the proper ritual.

Hiking up into the forest. Dressing up in all the gear. Taking peculiar path up a ravine, and reality starts to shift. Suddenly a tunnel appears. Entering the tunnel, lighting paper lanterns on the pagoda. Midway, a blob of slime falls on Beryl. The blob slides around a bit, making himself comfortable. However, he proves to be interested in Indigo's candy, and can finally be lured onto the litter, and hidden in one of the pagoda's hidden compartments.

When they leave the tunnel, they are hailed by a pair of guardian onis, large tiger-skin-wearing ogres, who has made an unusual effort to clean up, with fancy hair setups, and trying hard to be polite. Indigo manages to bamboozle the onis, and the team walks down the path to the onsen's inn, where they are greeted by a smaller and cuter female oni, who acts as the inn's hostess.

Exploring the Onsen and the Inn

The party is shown to their room. Female Oni-hostess welcomes the guests. Bunny maid delivers refreshments. Dress for dinner. Slime blob sneak-steals major parts of refreshments. Indigo sits in throne in Beryl's hair, and leashes Beryl and Rei together. Off to the common rooms.

Odd pop-pop-sounds from a room on the way. Sneaks a peek. Ping-pong match between Crimson Pig and a murder of crows. Continue to the common room/lobby. Guests there: reclusive woman all in white, two old men playing cards, table of mah-jong players, one a dragon, one a red oni. They peek into dining room - bunny maids setting the table. Peek into the dressing rooms of the baths, but decide not to go into bath now.

Join the two old men at the card game. They are foul-mouthed and insult each others. Sake is drunk. Talk about how the world is worse than in the old days, how bad today's youths are, etc. This Onsen was much better in the old days. More life. New management made things worse. Old men introduced as "God of Wandering" and "God of Rice Trade". They show interest in Beryl, especially when she argues back. Indigo is made an offer for Beryl's favors for one night, and settles for the price of one weeks luck in obtaining information.

Next the party tries the woman in white. She proves to be Saturn. "You are from Saturn?" - "No, I am Saturn". She is distant and aloof - the proverbial Ice Queen. All get a bit more drunk, but no progress.

Dinner gong-gong. Totoro arrives with quite the impact. Lots of not-important-in-this-scenario guests have arrived meanwhile, and all enter the dining room. The girls get seated next to the Crimson Pig. He proves to have been an old friend of Hiroko, the previous owner. He is remarkably easy to get information from - Indigo's newly-bought luck pays off instantly? Tells of rumors of the Coup, how things have degenerated here, that the Oni guards are mercenaries who work for more materialistical rewards than spirits in general, and that little is known of the new mistress, but that she is rumored to make an appearance among the guests within the next few days.

Indigo, seeing how the bunny tending to Totoro seems livelier to the rest, uses her magic rose to improve the mood of the bunnies serving them. Beryl manages to whisper a short message to one of the bunnies, but they don't want to talk with so many eyes and ears around.

After dinner, the two old gods take custody of Beryl, and take her to their room. Lots of sake is drunk, with Beryl used as drinking cup in various positions. The room proves to have lots of practical hooks and anchor points to facilitate this - and more. The gods prove to be quite energetic and active, but in-between the main activities, Beryl manages to get the gods to tell her that the new management employs tentacular horrors from beyond time and space - neither gods nor proper spirits. Not at all like the good old days.

Indigo takes a hot bath with Rei. Returning, they are ambushed by a Ninja Bunny - quite obviously one of the maids, trying to follow up on Beryl's message during dinner. The ninja really wants Beryl. With Beryl absent, the ninja is unsure about Indigo, so she tries to interrogate with a knife at Indigo's tiny throat. Indigo proves to be a tough cookie, and not at all intimidated. After some terse dialog with the increasingly desperate ninja, Indigo and Rei finally shows the introduction letter from Hiroko, which settles thing, and the bunny tells that the new mistress is holed up in the temple, and the maids now only goes there with food and when dressing up the usurper for formal occasions. The temple has grown dark and dirty with disuse, and something is wrong with the guardian statues.

Beryl arrives rather worn-out with the dawn, and stories are traded.

Exploring More Onsen Guests

The team is rudely awakened when Shiroinu, the hero, arrives and argues with Kaminari, the Oni hostess. No swords are allowed on the premises, and he is carrying a two-and-a-half meter long one on his back. Beryl, in the nude, interrupts the argument and invites Shiroinu to visit her "mistress". Kaminari stomps off, pissed, and zaps Beryl's bare behind in parting. Discussions with Shiroinu. Beryl spills the beans far too easy, which irritates Indigo.

Talking about how to hide Shiroinu's sword. Indigo touches it and gets a feeling of it being alive, and she is able to enter it on a spirit quest. Inside, she finds a forest with a path through it. Following the path, she finds a small shrine, sealed with sacred ropes. Inside, someone or something is answering her vaguely, seemingly half-asleep. She does not dare to break the seals, but withdraws and reports o the others. When she does this, she notices that almost no time has passed on the outside, which is lucky considering that they are expecting Onis to come barging in through the door at any moment. Intense discussion if the seal should be broken or not. All decide to enter. Shiroinu appears as a white Japanese Spitz inside, Beryl and Rei are nude and unequipped - only Indigo is as she was on the outside. When Beryl grabs the seal to break it, three demonic sabertooth gorillas suddenly attack. Fight ensues, the seals are broken and the gorillas defeated. From the shrine a sleepy dragon girl, Ryoko, appears. After some tentative words, Shiroinu (still as a dog) and Ryoko displays affection for each other, and the others give them some time to themselves - merely two seconds in the outside world, but two hours in the inner world.

The Onis knock on the door. Indigo persuades Ryoko to turn into a hair comb instead of being a sword, and puts her into Shiroinu's hair. The team let the Onis enter, and they search the room, perplexed - how can a two-and-a-half meter sword disappear? Their search only turns up last night's food scraps and dirty futons. Irritated, and forced to apologize, the Oni's leave. As sweet revenge, Beryl manages to hit Kaminari in the rear with a well-placed soy-bean.

Off to lunch. Indigo, Beryl and Rei manage to get seating next to the loud, squabbling and bickering flock of kimono-clad and hat-wearing crows. Trading lots of minor and major secrets with the crows. Indigo reveals her plan to seduce Kaminari, and the crows promise to watch. Crows reveal that the Onis are dissatisfied - they have been promised the "Oni-Hime jewelry", whatever that may be, and so far not been given anything. Tidbits about the other guests: Totoro has lots of spirit power, but not much brain; Saturn may be looking for affection behind her icy facade, the dragon likes to gamble and is loud, generous and boisterous, and the red oni wants to be like the dragon but is too poor a loser.

Bath after dinner. Beryl approaches the ice queen Saturn and slowly, slowly seduces her. The results show up as Local Warming and heavenly light show. Meanwhile, Indigo tantalizes and teases Rei mercilessly, to the latter's frustration.

Gambling with a Dragon

After the bath, it is dinner time. The food is plentiful, and the sake flows, but the girls mostly watch the other guests. Beryl is fed by some crows. And when dinner is over, they hasten to be able to reserve some seats at the Mah-Jong table, in order to chat with the Red Oni and the Red Dragon, both having caught the girls' interest. Beryl gets a special invite to play by the red dragon, who winks to her. Somebody apparently has spread a few rumors about the night before... Indigo strives hard to play indignant over this. Beryl's cuffs are loosened, but to her surprise, there is a set of convenient (????) to chain her hands to the game table - just enough slack to allow her to handle the Mah-jong tiles, but not much more.

Rei is sent off to investigate the rabbits, their rock, and to see if she can find the bunny Ninja.

The girls inquires about the stakes, and find out that the game is played for favors; you count points as normal, but in the end, the winner gets to ask a major favor or boon from the ones at second through fourth place, and the second best gets a minor favor from the third and fourth. The girls discuss whether to risk it, but finally they decide to take the gamble. They play the game, and try to chat up both the dragon and the ogre. The dragon is amused and aloof, and refuse to get caught on any specifics about anything, which irritates Indigo. Indigo in turn drops some nuggets of information about the Oni-Hime jewelry to the red Oni, which greatly rouses his suspicions - and distracts him from the game, making him commit several mistakes - which the dragon is not slow to catch up on.

Indigo tries to make the dragon take sides against the interloper ruler of the Onsen, but he keeps sidestepping the issue to her frustration. Rules and duties seems to be water off the goose. They have better luck pressuring the Oni about the Oni-Hime jewelry. Apparently it has been lost for quite some time, and is very important to the Onis; normally an Oni clan can only be ruled by one of their own, but the wearer of the jewelry counts as a member of all Oni clans - the implication is easy to see. A little more pressure, and they find out two more rumors - the jewelry is cursed in some way, and can only be worn by a female. Why that is, and how it is cursed, the Oni hasn't been able to find out himself from the elders of the clan - it seems to be embarrassing in some way. Indigo jokes that if he is here hunting the jewelry, perhaps he should dress up as a woman... for some reason, the dragon finds it very amusing, and seems to get an idea from this. The girls also concludes that the Oni has steadily been losing favor after favor to the dragon, in hope of winning at least one in turn from him.

Perhaps predictably, the dragon ends up as winner, Indigo as second, the Oni as third, and poor Beryl gets last place.

The dragon decides to cash in on this nice set of favors at once - after all, he is here to amuse himself. He opens his mouth widely, and swallows all the Mah-Jong players... Their clothing and Beryl's chains clatters to the floor - empty.

...water, streaming water... torrents of water...

...Beryl wakes up, naked, chained to a rock in the middle of a raging river of water... The rock is tilted, so that her head is well above the water, while her feet are submerged. Up between her spread legs rages a torrent of river water, buffeting and massaging her body, with special attention to her tender parts. Beryl hears a whimper, and when she turns her head, she finds the Oni chained in the same way next to her. But it is a very changed Oni... instead of a hulking brute, it is a human-sized, slender Oni girl there. The Dragon got Indigo's joke.

Next, Indigo pops up her head above the surface. She finds that she too has become human-sized... with some additions. In fact, she is a mermaid, for the second time. The water feels very playful to her... and she plays around, cavorting and leaping in front of the bound duo. The water becomes more solid and insistent and the play more frenzied. In the end she and the river comes simultaneously, the water lifting her in a majestic waterspout high above the surface.

As Indigo slumps down exhausted into the water again, a dragon of water rises between Beryl's legs, taking advantage of her. The oriental dragon's front part rises in a graceful arc high above her, while his rear part does its business. As the dragon comes, it dissolves in wet rain, cascading over Beryl.

Meanwhile, Indigo plays a bit with the Oni... teasing her... and she has an idea why the Oni-Hime jewelry can only be worn by a female... she pinches the ogre - "perhaps it needs to be attached here - or here..."

More play ensues, as the night falls.

Ogres and Bunnies

The girls and the ogre are return to the Mah-jong table. It is late in the evening, and the social room is abandoned. They note that someone has very carefully folded their stuff and left it on the game table. The ogre is most embarrassed, and bids a hasty retreat.

Beryl notes that she has recieved a parting gift - a live, wriggling fish stuck inside her. She rushes to the carp ponds and dives in, in order to remove it in a humane way.

Back in their room, they get a report from Rei. She has found the magic rock and seen the moon rabbits jump through a hole inside to turn into bunny girls. She has not seen anyone that she thinks was the Bunny Ninja.

Going walkies.

Jumping through stone.

Indigo unused to her size. Falls on her bum.

Meeting maids.

Dressing up.

Going for ogres.

Talking to crows.

Indigo goes for female oni. Plays up the Starts playing with her. Shocks. Finds out more details on the jewelry.

Beryl tries to start a fight with what apparently was the chief male ogre. He wants to play, and is amazed that a bunny can match him when it comes to oni style grappling lovemaking. Beryl gets final coup.

Onsen Finale

Decide to sneak up to the temple, disguised as bunny maids, delivering food. Recruits Saturn, who is delighted that someone confides in and trusts her. Taking Saturn and Rei to the bunny-maid rock. Transformation.

Fetching food in kitchen. Giant bento box with drawers, wrapped in cloth.

Going up winding road. Nature bleaker and deader when approaching. Even insects dead at the end.

Gate. Indigo examines what happens when going beside the gate instead of through - no difference.

Stairs. dead insects, dirty.

Cleansing well. Beryl tries one of the wooden taps. Starts rattling, and something gelatinous tries to squeeze through the taps, rupturing some of its many eyes in the process... after looking at the broken eyeballs, they quickly shut the taps. Saturn claims this is some common pest.

Stone lanterns. Discovers that some things are inside the lanterns. Looks like eggs - leather sacks that move slightly. Saturn claims they grow from fear and horror. Beryl tries a brave front, intimidating them with positive feelings - and they shrink back, something that cheers the group.

Continuing over the temple yard. More dust and non-cleaning.

Temple lion statues. Saturn suddenly very wary. Something bad sleeps in them. They have started changing, sending down roots that draw upon the magic nature of the land. Cancerous growths of stone. More eyes than lions should have. Saturn explains, major gun guardians. Don't wake them.

Carefully, carefully proceeding up to the temple hall door. Pause. Indigo examines for hairs - and finds something thin, glittering in the sun, going towards the dance ceremony hall.

Clap hands to announce presense, sliding up door on knees. Dark hall, furniture and pillows in sizes from pixie to totoro. Two figures on other side. proves to be two of the missing bunny maids, nude and holding iron maces far too large for them. Silently, they gesture with the maces to show where the food is to be left.

Looking the bunny maids over. Odd. The gestures with the iron maces should have over-balanced them. More odd, when they move, their muscles are not contracting and relaxing as it should, and something is constricting around wrists and arms, cutting into the skin.

Exchanging looks. bunny maids have silent desperation - indigo tries to give courage. Other odd thing - their hairs are so long that they disappear through the door behind them.

Bow and leave. Decide to follow the hair they discovered over to the dance ceremony hall. Cover: Indigo's stumbles, her clothes (only an apron) blows off - follow it to dance hall. Suceeds too well - Indigo has a glass bottle she had hoped to break to make a cutting implement, and that is lost together with the apron.

Stumble into hall anyway. Find another of the lost maids, suspended from a ceiling beam by her very long hair, tied in a knot to the beam four meters above. She is forced to dance on tiptoe like some kind of marionette. In a corner, music instruments are hanging in the air, playing.

Finds nothing to cut girl down with. Discussion. Beryl decides to search for cutting garden tools in the cleaning closets of the administration building across the yard. Runs off alone. Discovers something is weird with geometry, time and space. Does not return.

Other two wait and wait. Finally they cross too, and sense the same weirdness. Something has manipulated the space-time continuum, in order to take Beryl somewhere else.

Time to call in the cavalry. They rush down in order to find support and organize a rescue operation.

Meanwhile, Beryl wakes up, suspended in the air from fine hair threads, paralyzed except the head.

Creepy, morticia-addams-like woman sits on a throne. Talks to beryl, thinking her a mere bunny maid. Admires her. Horror at her short-cut hair. Brings beryl over the throne, still suspended, talking about hair. Starts combing Beryl, whose hair starts growing for each combing. Beryl tries to talk about the woman's allies. Soon clear that the allies gave her an offer and then used her.

When hair is fully grown, boss suspends Beryl spread-eagle from narrow threads - the bosses hair, and calls in an amoeba-like horror. slithers over, forms tentacle, and starts climbing up a hair towards Beryl.

Meanwhile, Indigo manages to rouse practically everybody major of the guests - they have managed to touch them all. Major attack is planned, but Indigo and Rei takes the White Dog and his female dragon-girl sword on a sneak-around mission ahead of the main force. Rei gets kitchen knife.

Up to the the dance hall. White Dog cuts through the ceiling beam with a single chop with his huge sword. Liberates bunny, who collapses. Instruments does the same.

Circum??? motion. Finds the sanctum behind the main hall. Plain wooden fence, but with magic ward. White Dog cuts through it all with his sword, but that sounds the alarm. White dog decides to defend from there, while Indigo and Rei continues.

Indigo and Rei climb up the sanctum walls and sneak in under the roof shingles.

Meanwhile, the tentacle blob has started to have its way with Beryl. Thinking about the eggs before, Beryl concentrates on making the experience pleasant instead of horrible, to deny the monster its energy. The boss is sitting there in the throne, watching, combing something that looks like a fox' tail.

Indigo and Beryl sneaks in the ceiling crawlspace to above Beryl, and starts sawing into the threads suspending her. Tough going. Indigo manages to get contact with Beryl.

Beryl discovers that she can move her now long, long hair as if it was an extra limb, and together Beryl and Indigo decide that the boss needs distracting. Indigo manages to reach beryl, and turns into a sword.

Beryl starts caressing the boss with her hair, something that she apparently finds highly erotic - serious hair fetish. Indigo's powers enables them to strip her simultaneously. Indigo wants to find the oni jewelry, but finds nothing like it under her clothes.

Beryl cuts off the tentacle with sword-indigo, and they together keep tantalizing and confusing the boss.

Meanwhile, Rei does heroic battle with the space amoeba.

Major battle outside rattles the building, but the boss is kept busy, stimulated and confused by Indigo and Beryl.

Finally they make her come, defeating her. She collapses into herself, imploding, and turns into a comb. A shard of the power jewel drops beside.

Rei defeats her monster.

Opening the shutters - and all are outside.

Beryl decides that the place needs a thorough cleaning, grabs a broom and jumps up on the main temple hall's roof, calling out to the bunny maids.

There she can see that the part of the yard where the guardian lions were, now just is a glass crater.

Cleanup.

Hiroko, the Kitsune, is brought in by Crimson Pig in one of his flying machines. Tear-filled reunion. The bunnies are overjoyed.

Indigo is rewarded with one of Hiroko's tails, and proclaimed honorary Kitsune.

Back to School

First, some business left hanging:

Indigo asks the Red Oni for information about their employer dragon. He is thoughtful but will come back to her.

Beryl uses Buddy, the-eats-everything-not-alive-organics blob to clean out the remains of the tentacle stuck in her. Indigo and Rei helps to tie her down meanwhile.

Both the Red Oni and the Green Onis asks that the heroes will contact them if they discovers any leads to the Oni jewelry. Nothing was found at the boss.

They get standing invitations from the Red Dragon, the Moon Bunnies, and the Onsen itself; come and visit at any time, if you are nearby.

The Crimson pig is caought looking longingly at Hiroko.

Rei is persuaded to come and join the maids at the mansion as a security maid.

The comb that was the interloper is laid to rest in one of the side shrines. Indigo sneaks in and replaces it with a feather - she has plans.

Souvenirs are bought for various friends and acquaintances. Indigo gets hold of a bunch of dolls.

  • Midori - Puzzle key chain
  • An, Ran, Yan - Carp flags, pumice and liniment
  • Kyoske - Paper model
  • Chizuko - Stuffed chicken
  • Anna - Bonsai Cedar
  • Head Maid - comb

Train travel back.

Indigo gives a comb to the head maid. Other souvenirs are distributed.

During the night a budded-off piece of Buddy, the friendly cave slime, makes an appearance and exits from Beryl.

Next day is school day. School uniforms. Map of ventilation, radio contact with snipers.

Manages to wake Master. Helicopter. Boring history lesson - but not for Indigo, she adored it.

Bullies during gymnastics. Beryl manages to interrupt, play ball, and defeat the bullies. Bullies get detention.

Indigo is busy distributing dolls. two girls, two boys get them.

After school. Theater club. New play?

Enthusiastic Director makes great entrance and distributes scripts.

Play is "The three musketeers" - abridged version. To be played at the Culture Festival.

Actors skilled at swordplay is needed. Beryl volunteers, and the Master is drafted.

Indigo investigates the bullies at detention. Sullen silence, but when they leave, they talk brashly and braggingly about what they will do. Goes into arcade. A leather-clad tough-guy enters after. Indigo investigates, and finds that the tough guy is stopping the bullies from harassing the arcade owner and trashing a machine. Indigo leaves - time to go home.

They find out that the master does not like the special attention, helicopters and so on, and wants to go to school more normally. Plans are promised. Met by the lined-up maids which makes Master wince. Head maid has much longer hair now.

Time to work. Clean-up-time in the bath. Finish before time, and since the bath is closed, they get to spend some quality time with the bathing maids, which include some mermaid frolicking.

Substitute Pupil

The girls want to make a substitution for Master Kyosuke in order for him to be able to bike to school instead of going by helicopter. In order to do this, they need to get a fake Kyosuke, and a reasonable substitute for Beryl. They go to Midori for this, and since she is probably working late, they go directly after the bath.

After getting approved by Midori's mechanical "Eye-on-a-stalk", they enter the furnace building. In a dark corridor, green arrows appear to lead them on, and Beryl grabs the opportunity to play some hopscotch, or perhaps tag, with the lit arrows.

In the central room, they find Midori, playing with some superstrings - a tangle of strange writhing glowing strands floating in the air. She soon warms to the idea of building a Mecha-Kyosuke, to be piloted by Indigo. But in order to make the perfect cockpit, she needs to make a full-body cast of Indigo. Indigo is put nude into a jar containing a clear liquid with a breathing tube in her mouth. In spite of this, Indigo manages to fall asleep. The liquid hardens around her. Once it is completely firm, with Indigo trapped like a fly in amber, Midori takes a little while to admire her work, and to take some pictures. Once this is done, she uses a teleport device to remove Indigo from the jar, leaving a perfect cast.

Midori promises a completed mech the next day, and they all end the evening by going up to watch the stars. Using a tiny elevator they go up to the top of one of the old smokestacks, where Midori keeps her telescope. Midori tells about the weird astronomical phenomenon where Saturn suddenly turned pink briefly. As they watch Saturn, Beryl waves - and Saturn winks back, something that causes Midori to keel over, stunned.

Beryl and Indigo returns to their room, and goes to bed. During the night, Beryl is awakened by Buddy, who has escaped from his jar in the closet, and is now climbing up between her legs. Beryl tries to lift him off, but he proves able to make his underside sticky and his topside very slick, causing Beryl to fail. He looks at her with his big, soulful Bambi eyes, making her hesitate. This enables him to finish his trek up Beryl's thighs and to sneak inside her, where he settles down and starts to softly purr. With this pleasant rumble inside, Beryl falls asleep again.

When waking they hasten to the Master's bedroom, in haste completely forgetting all about the Buddy incident. They find him wide awake and all excited about tomorrow's little deception. Off by helicopter again to school.

When they arrive at school, they find three letter's in Beryl's shoe locker. Two anonymous admirer letter's addressed to Beryl, and one letter for Indigo, to their surprise. Who knows about her? It simply reads "Meet me behind the gym during lunch."

During the morning classes, Indigo notices a shy girl, Nakamura Akemi, in the bench next to Kyosuke, glancing at him. Kyosuke in turn, glances at her, but they never do it at the same time, however, so their eyes never meet.

During lunch, Indigo and Beryl cooperates to lure Akemi to their table, and Beryl, Kyosuke and Akemi share their Bento with each other, and they start discussing them. Indigo and Beryl are so involved, they almost forget Indigo's lunch meeting. So, when they suddenly remember it, Indigo has to hurry away on her own, leaving Beryl behind.

Behind the Gym, Indigo finds a huge, trench-coat-covered figure, with a fedora drawn down to cover the face. Indigo flies up to it, and finds out that it is the Red Oni from the Onsen, now sporting a magnificent black eye, and looking very hard-boiled. "I'm here to repay my debt, by giving you the information you asked for."

The Oni tells Indigo: "Darnarax is a dragon that came from another world, and made himself known here some time ago. He is known to be a collector of things both odd and beautiful. He also started collecting lots of information, something that made the powers-that-be nervous, as this is usually a precursor to a take-over attempt. But when they discovered that he rather was collecting information on spirit and monster clans whose blood has been so thinned out that they were almost human, or even on humans themselves, they were very much insulted instead. How dares he ignore them this way? Their reaction made him retreat, and he has kept himself afar lately."

"Also, as a collector, he collected items with odd and quirky magic powers, not necessarily those powerful. In this, he used an agent - a human woman that seemed very gentle, but was a tough nut when things got rough."

At the theater club, the roles are reassigned, the script is rewritten, and things are generally chaotic. Somebody is going to get some tabards and hats with plumes, and Beryl volunteers.

Back at the manor, they pick up the Kyosuke mech, and Indigo gets a plug suit in Evangelion style, which when worn will interface with her nervous system and allow her to control the robot. Indigo suits up and takes the mech for a test drive. She quickly gets the hang of it.

Back at the room, Beryl forgets about Buddy's little escapade the other night, so she does not check on him. She does not wake this night either - but she has a very, very nice dream...

Split Party

Town

Beryl and Kyosuke arrives at the school gate too late. As they approach at full speed, they see them close at a distance, and when they get there, they can see Indigo, imersonating Kyosuke in her mecha, sitting at window in their classroom.

They take stock at the situation, and decides that they need to get Kyosuke a male school uniform, so that he can return to his proper persona. In order to do this, they start walking towards the town's shopping district. They take stock of their money situation, and they find that the credit cards are in the suit Indigo is wearing. They have some coins however, and both being unsure of money's real worth (Beryl as an elven fantasy princess and Kyosuke never having had to handle purchases) they decide to look for a store and give it a shot.

On the way, they find an ice-cream parlor - a place serving cute and fanciful ice-cream concoction any male student wouldn't be caught dead eating. But since Kyosuke is in his Kyonko disguise, and Beryl is feels a sudden yearning for ice cream, they decide to enter and sample the menu. Kyosuke is delighted to be able to choose just whatever he likes, without anyone telling him what is proper or good for him...

Over their ice creams, they chat amicably, and Beryl asks about Kyosuke's relation to his father. It comes to light that he believers his father is a major conglomerate businessman, always away on business trips in Europe, South America, and other exotic places. He communicates mainly in postcards and the occasional phone call. However, Kyosuke's father wants him to study odd things like swordfighting and military tactics, rather than business. Kyosuke self is more attracted to the theater, because it allows his fantasy some escape. He thinks the Head Maid used to be his father's secretary, or something like that.

School

At the school, Indigo (as Kyosuke) is supposed to have biology lesson. And in true classic style, they are going to dissect some frogs. The class president, Inoue Noriko, is supposed to get the frogs from the biology supply room to the class room, where they will be killed with ether by the teacher, and then dissected.

Noriko haughtily appoints Indigo-Kyosuke to the actual frog-carrying for her, and marches off to the supply room. Indigo manages to mess up Noriko's proud march, and with her somewhat flustered they arrive at the supply room. Noriko picks the jar of ether, and Indigo fumbles the bucket of frogs, splashing frogs and froggy water over Noriko. While cleaning Noriko up with a clean handkerchief, Indigo manages to both tease and unbalance her, as well as skillfully improve on Noriko's hairdo, to the latter's surprise.

Town

Downtown, Beryl and Kyosuke finds a nice, sunny park. First they try to call Indigo, but it comes to light that Kyosuke's cell phone is right here in Kyosuke's clothing - ie they can only call each other. However, Beryl can with a pair of found bamboo flower sticks demonstrate improvised sword fighting, as opposed to formal competition fighting. Of course, they end up in the fountain, where Beryl just about avoids being drenched, but flashes Kyosuke instead. A cop appears and chases them out of the park, and they both lose their shoes, and Beryl her bag in the process.

School

In school, there is a lack of frogs during the biology class, and Indigo-Kyosuke pairs up with Akemi, the shy girl with a crush on Kyosuke. However, the dissection makes Akemi queasy, and Indigo hints that she'd better leave to visit the ladies room, something she does. Indigo follows and parks her Kyosuke mecha in the men's room. She makes an appearance as the School Fairy to Akemi, and hints at hope for an improved relationship with Kyosuke.

Town

In the department store downtown, Beryl and Kyosuke finds that clothes and school uniforms are much more expensive than they thought, and they have to settle for some window shopping and try-on:s. Disappointed, they retire to a burger place, and Kyosuke is again fascinated; he has never eaten at a place like this.

School

At school, it is time to clean up after the biology lesson. Noriko once again tries to use Indigo-Kyosuke to do the dirty work for her. Indigo uses this to work on Noriko, and when they have carried the trash to the dumpsters, manages to suggest to Noriko that she needs to visit the Ladies Room afterward. When Noriko does this, Indigo sneaks in after her, blocks the door (and puts "out of order" outside), and gives Noriko a surprise hug. A hug that turns into touching her in all the right places, and then into wild sex. And yes, the Kyosuke mecha that Indigo drives is fully anatomically correct. Their play take them into one of the stall's - and there they discover another girl that had been in there when they entered. It's Saitou Naomi, one of their classmates. However, the situation had apparently turned her on, as she was discovered with the skirt at her feet and her hand deep in her panties. Indigo quickly draws Naomi into a threesome, and makes sure that the girls play a lot with each other.

Afterward, Indigo gives both a little doll, with whispered explanations - explanations that differed for each girl.

Town

In town, Beryl has a vague idea about winning some money, and they enter a video game parlor. Quickly, they discover that you don't win money at video games, but they find a fighting game that rouses their competitive spirits, and they are soon engrossed in it. The game parlor owner/attendant sees two attractive, enthusiastic girls (Beryl and "Kyonko") as good advertisement, and gives them some extra token's to play for.

Everything seems to be just perfect, when suddenly Beryl finds herself crowded by a bunch of aggressive delinquents, threatening and challenging her. She handles two of them, when she discovers that two others are dragging Kyosuke out a back door at knife-point.

She follows them out, and there a big gang are waiting for her.

By threatening Kyosuke they force Beryl to wear a pair of cheap handcuffs, and then force a burlap bag over her head. She is lead to a delivery moped, covered by a tarpaulin, and unceremoniously driven to an old abandoned warehouse.

There she is strung up with some ropes in a very amateurish manner, and the bag is removed. Around her is the gang of delinquents in a bunch of worn-down sofas, and on a throne made of an old easy chair on a pair of pallets is their boss. Beryl's skirt is pulled off and her sex is put on display and commented on in rude terms, but Beryl does not allow herself to be intimidated by this.

In the middle of this, Beryl's cell phone starts ringing. The boss is enraged by the fact that his gangers haven't searched her, and a scramble for the ringing phone starts - and the clumsy delinquents fail to find it.

Even more enraged by this failure, and by his subordinates' ineptitude, the boss starts to rape Beryl, but proves almost as inept himself. Just then, Beryl hears a whistle from above, and in a cieling window, she sees Kyosuke, still disguised as Kyonko, waving at her.

The boss notices nothing, and continues with his rape attempt. Beryl starts fighting back, using her hair as a whip. Behind her she hears struggle, and delinquents starts disappearing behind her. It's Kyosuke, fencing with a found rebar. Together they trash the boss and the remaining delinquents, and they leave the boss behind, face down, with the rebar stuck in his butt.

Beryl's skirt is lost in the struggle, and she has to do with just her uniform jacket and blouse on the way back through the town.

School

In school there are rumors of odd ribbiting sounds from the ventilation, and someone has made a small shrine in one of the third floor ladies room, with flowers, candles and toys.

Indigo/Kyosuke and Chizuko takes Kyosuke's regular limo-ride back to the mansion.

Mansion

Both teams gets in using their various entrances. That Beryl is skirtless, well... that's Beryl for you.

Kyosuke is very happy and enthusiastic about his day as Kyonko.

A Maze of Twisty Little Plots

Midori

A red light flashing inside mecha-Kyosuke. Indigo turns it off. Beryl carries to Midori. Out of hydraulic fluid.

Midori has a new toy - when she played with the mathematical constants controlling it, it collapsed around a metal tube, changing it. It is now just two centimeters long on the outside, but a full meter on the inside. This is discussed a lot, and various experiments are performed, mainly to see if a perpetuum mobile can be made.

Anna

Beryl visits Anna in the kitchen. She has made rose-scented tarts . a new specialty that seems to attract mainly herself, as she gets turned on by the scent of roses. But Beryl likes to eat anything, and Indigo loves anything sweet, so they can appreciate those too.

Head Maid

The Head Maid calls Indigo and Beryl into her office. She has had a complaint from school that Beryl has been skipping class, and as she promised the school that Beryl would be punished, she was now forced to do something about it. Beryl apologizes.

In front of her she has a wooden archive box with a hand-written label that reads "37-5675-12". She opens it, and takes out a pair of metal rings. She asks Indigo to put them on Beryl. She then explains that this will hinder Beryl from running away from Indigo, and she asks Indigo to look after Beryl, and keep her out of trouble.

Indigo puts them on, and they shrink around Beryl's ankles, making themselves impossible to remove.

Experiment

The girls are supposed to was the windows after this, and as soon as they get alone, they try a little experiment. Indigo simply flies away to see what happens when they get apart. At about fifty meter's distance, the rings suddenly grow to wide bands, covering the most of the shin, and snap together. Where the bands touch each other they merge, making them a single piece of metal.

The Gold Maid

The girls realize that washing windows gives them a wonderful opportunity to spy - and soon they are washing the windows around the Head Maid's office. Sneaking a view into the office window, they notice the Head Maid writing a letter with a fancy quill - and then burning the letter. After this she leaves the room.

After a few minutes, a maid in gold uniform enters the room, picks up the empty archive box, and leaves through the door.

School Spirit

Back in school, at Indigo's shrine in the girl's restroom, she has gotten a pair of requests (with the appropriate panties sacrifice). They are from Yasukawa Hina and Tsurya Hoshiko. The latter wants to get more attention from the boys in her class. She feels shy and anonymous.

Indigo sneaks into Hoshiko's classroom, and as she has sacrificed her panties to the school spirit, it is easy for Indigo to enter Hosiko's skirt, and start to stimulate her. The plan works even better than planned, as Hoshiko not only draws regular attention - she also draws more attraction. Apparently she is able to emanate powerful attractive pheromones, but only while she herself is turned on.

A few days later, Indigo gets another letter from Hoshiko. Apparently she has grown dependent on the effect, but is still too shy to keep stimulating herself. This irritates Indigo, and she ponders more extreme measures.

Stalker

Beryl is idling up on the roof, when Indigo, busy with her School Spirit role, gets more than 50 meters away. The leg cuffs lock, but not too each other - to the iron railing around the roof. Apparently contact with a major piece of metal changes how they work.

This is noticed by Anna, who has been sneaking around. She pounces on Beryl and soon have her at her mercy. Immobilized, she is further bound by Anna's ropes. Apparently she has been learning Shibari while Beryl was off on the Onsen trip, and now wants to practice - with enthusiasm.

Bound for Sleep

As the girls lay to rest, they find out that it is not only distance that activates the cuffs. When Indigo falls asleep, they activate too. And not only that, they lock in whatever position they first touch each other in as they are drawn together.

Beryl needs to sleep with her legs akimbo, shins crossed, tonight.

Plans

Indigo plans what to do with Tsuruya Hoshiko. She orders a battery-powered, remote controlled vibrator using the internet. It arrives in plain brown wrapping a few days later, but before that a lot of other things happens.

Playing with The Cuffs

Beryl is awoken yet another night by Buddy coming to roost in his favorite resting spot - inside Beryl. When Beryl tries to stop that, Buddy seems to be able to talk to the cuffs - and they responds. The cuffs locks Beryl's feet, even though Indigo is both close and awake. This distracts Beryl enough to allow Buddy to sneak inside.

That Buddy could talk to the cuffs makes the girls think the latter could be alive or semi-alive, and since it were able to adhere to and absorb metals, they try feeding various metal objects to it - including the handcuffs they liberated from the delinquents. The cuffs snack eagerly on the metals provided, and seem to grow a little. Finally they seem full, and refuse to eat anything more.

This lead to the idea of doing further experimenting. What would happen if Beryl is wearing a full suit of armor? They remember a suit of armor standing in one of the rooms on the top floor. They go up there, Beryl dresses in the suit, and Indigo flies away to activate the cuffs. They locked predictably, but they refuse to eat more of the armor - instead they pass straight through it in order to lock up Beryl. As Indigo returns, she notices one of the gold-clad maids hanging around the door outside the room. She appeares to do some kind of magic sense-thing at the door, after which she continues down the corridor. Indigo follows, but the gold maid disappears after turning a corner.

The Missing String

After cleaning, the girls have to take out the trash. They try to feed old cans to the cuffs, but they refused those. As the trash dumpsters are near Midori's lab, they decide to look in on her on the way back.

Midori is distraught - the superstring did a vanishing act on her. She tried to adjust its mathematical parameters, as she did when she accidentally created the tricky tube, and then it went poof and translocated. The girls promise to look for it. They discuss the tube a lot, and finally Beryl realize that she can use it to tie up her hair, making it a bit shorter.

After Midori, they visit the mermaids in the bath. The missing string comes up, and the mermaids promise to look for it.

Split

Yet another night, yet another visit from Buddy. This time, when Buddy talks to the cuffs, they split off into two more, making hand cuffs as well as foot cuffs. This effectively hinders Beryl from interfering with Buddy's visit to his favorite wet and dark place.

Discovery

During early breakfast An, one of the mermaids, tells them that they have seen a weird blue light out in the forest during the night. Could it be the glowing superstring?

Beryl and Indigo decide to investigate. They quickly grab a breakfast basket, and go out to the indicated spot. They find an old wooden door set into a small hillside. It is half overgrown with moss and plants, and seems to go underground. Through the cracks between the planks, a strong, weird blue light can be seen.

They rush off to Midori, and awake her. She answers her door in a short frilly nightgown, barefoot. After describing the light, Beryl simply hoists up Midori, and carries her to the cave door.

They enter the cave. Everywhere are reflections of the weird blue light. Suddenly Beryl and Indigo realize that they have gotten ahead of Midori, and that the blue light isn't merely reflecting anymore - it is in the walls, surrounding them. And they seem to fall, fall, fall, down an ever-branching blue-lit tunnel driven through reality.

They land in a dark cave. faint daylight can be seen further up the sloping tunnel, and they crawl up - opening a wooden door similar to the one that they entered on the way in. Midori is not to be seen anywhere, and neither are the breakfast baskets they placed at the entrance. Indigo feels something strange about the forest - it is similar, but yet different.

Not in Kansas Anymore

Beryl and Indigo walk through the woods, and soon they see the mansion driveway ahead of them. But on the other side across from them, they see the top floors of a classical theater - not the chicken coop which used to be there. Weird engine noise can be heard down from the left, where Midori's lab, the old furnace building, is.

The girls follow the noise, and they see a futuristic anti-grav hover-tank idling in front of the lab. In front of this are three persons in their mid-thirties, clad in strange clothes. Extremely skintight black body-suits (cf Empowered), over which two have very short uniform jackets, and one has an unbuttoned lab-coat. Suddenly the girls realize that it is an older Kyosuke, Arileda and Midori they are seeing. Kyosuke is wearing an officer's cap with general's insignia, and the very human-looking Arileda is carrying a minor assault cannon.

Kyosuke and Arileda jump into the tank and drive off, leaving Midori behind.

The girls approach Midori, who seems to be expecting them. She explains: The girls are in the future. She was left behind. Arileda appeared, was introduced as Kyosuke's sister from Europe, and took command over the security maids. Kyosuke is now a general, and leads the resistance against the invading aliens that appeared a week or so ago. The invading aliens look like two-foot frogs with piranha teeth, and have come from another dimension.

Midori scans Beryl and Indigo, and states that they are filled to over the brim with temporal energy. If they discharged all that, the rebound at zero energy would not only send them home, but perhaps also the alien mothership - if they were close enough when that occurred. And one way to do that would be to reverse Midori's previously used shrink-ray, to instead grow the girls to gigantic proportion. Which incidentally would make it easier for them to bash their way up to the mothership. Midori just needs a few hours to complete the work.

Costume Capers

While Midori works, the girls decide to investigate the theater, apparently built between their time and this time. Perhaps they can find the costumes they need for the school play there?

Approaching the theater, they realize that it is an old building, purchased and moved here stone by stone.

Indigo finds a key hidden under a rock, and they enter the stage entrance. In a corridor below the stage they find the costume wardrobe, and after quite some searching they find some excellent tabards and hats, but no boots. Indigo wants to bring a souvenir from the theater for Kyosuke, so they decide to visit the lobby on the way back. When they approach it, they realize that they are not alone. Entering the lobby are some ninjas!

The girls hide, and they realize that it is the same ninjas that once tried to kidnap Kyosuke (first episode). After them, enters their boss - and it is von Stahlheim - the obnoxious ambassador from the Iron Kingdom whose plans they fouled in their old world.

Now Beryl cannot hide anymore, and she steps out and confronts von Stahlheim. Indigo turns into a sword in Beryl's hands, von Stahlheim waves away his mooks, and the fight begins.

After some fancy fencing back and forth, the girls finally defeat him, and relieve him of both coat and boots. In the coat they find some printouts - photos of Kyosuke, Arileda, the Head Maid, and a painting hanging on a wall. Also a series of numbers - a safe combination? Indigo recognizes the painting as one hanging in the corridor outside the head maid's office.

They bring back their haul to Midori, and she uses her teleporter to transfer the temporal energy from their school uniforms to the loot, so that it will return with them. Unfortunately that turned the uniforms to ash...

Mothership

Midori drives the girls downtown in her anti-grav car. There, among the high-rises, a war is fought between frogs on saucers and in mechs, and military in antigrav tanks.

Midori turns Beryl huge, Indigo becomes an appropriately-sized sword, and they hide the loot inside Beryl. Time to fight.

They fight their way through the city, toppling buildings, fighting waves of saucers and mechs, flights of missiles, and barrages of energy beams. Finally they hide behind a huge building to avoid the main mothership artillery. They gather strength, barrel up the building's side, and use it as a jump-off spot for a giant leap towards the mothership, just as the rest of the frogs' forces encircle the building.

Indigo buries her blade deep into the ship's hull, and she realize that she has penetrated into the very bridge of the ship. Quickly she turns into herself again, leaving the giant Beryl clinging to the outside.

Just as the alien admiral rises to his feet to shout orders to his subordinates, waving a saber around, Indigo slides into the command chair and presses the big red switch in front of her - the emergency lift-off switch.

The engines roar into life, and the ship starts to lift. The frogs around Indigo are thrown to the deck, and Beryl starts sliding down the hull towards the roaring flames of the engine. Suddenly she is fifty meters apart from Indigo, and the cuffs activate, locking her to the hull, embracing it.

As the ship climbs, the girls temporal energy suddenly runs out, reality is ripped apart, and invaders and heroes tumble through time and space, in separate directions.

Home Sweet Home

Once again the girls land unceremoniously on a hard and cold cave floor. They retrieve their loot, climb the cave, and find Midori, once again their age, waiting for them. They tell her the whole story, and together they assert that the superstring seems to have dissipated from the cave.
