Appointing an Emissary to the Dragon Lord
An town mayor unexpectedly gets an official message from a notorious and powerful dragon, requesting the appointment of an emissary to represent the humans of the land.
The dragon is known to be one of the more civilized and reasonable of its kind, but the letters' directions reveals its dragon nature.
1st Missive
One morning a previously empty pedestal in the town square has been occupied by a bronze statue of a reclining dragon (not full size) holding a scroll tube in its claws.
Paraphrased message:
Appoint the most brave, beautiful, talented, resourceful and intelligent girl for the job.
Magic aptitude is a plus. Virginity is NOT a requirement. Her title shall be "Princess". Here's a list of trials to aid you in the selection. (list) |
2nd Missive
A few weeks later the statue has changed its pose to depict a dragon spreading its wings about to take flight. In front of it there's a large package containing magic items and a message.
Paraphrased message:
You have had time enough to make a choice. I will make an appearance soon, no later than the summer solstice.
Make the appointment official with a nice ceremony. Conclude with displaying her ready for pickup in the town's most prominent location.
I expect you to show the Princess proper respect and comply with any wishes of hers that are not in conflict with my instructions. In particular you should respectfully encourage her to enjoy sexual contact as this is important to mortals. The magic restraint is designed to encourage sexual conjunction. I'm enclosing a list of fun and harmless games to get her to loosen up and enjoy herself. If my Princess indicates the festival to have been enjoyable, I might consider sponsoring (paying Gold!) repeat events with her in the years to follow.

Notes on the festival picture

- A main theme of the festival is dressing up as dragons and damsels-in-distress. The girl in the foreground is chaining herself up to complete her costume and the kids are stealing the key to add some extra distress, all in good fun
- The guy tossing water is doing it simply to cool down the princess, I imagine. Presumably it's a warm day
- The large ring from which the restraint is suspended is just the right size for hooking by a dragon claw.
- The ring can be suspended magically in mid-air. Connecting it to the pillar is just for show
- The restraints offer magic protection from many things including pregnancy and alcohol poisoning
- Her restraints are made to stay on forever. They are after all made by the most skilled dwarven smiths and empowered by dragon magic. They'll even extend her lifespan to that of a dragon.
