A little shorter, with plans on adding to it. KiTA 05:36, 31 December 2014 (CET)

Mr. Winters paced back and forth, pausing to glance over at Jimmy. "Still no answer?"

"None."

"This is outrageous. She knows we have to rehearse and do script readings. And we have a meeting with corporate in an hour. How in the world can she be so late?"

"I'm more concerned with the fact that she hasn't answered her phone," Jimmy said, hitting redial again. "She's never gone this far off the grid."

"That's because my phone has been dead all morning," a voice said behind Jimmy and Mr. Winters. "I think it got some form of water damage."

Mr. Winters froze in shock, his eyes wide and mouth agape. Jimmy glanced at his face in confusion, then turned to look. Seconds later, his own mouth fell slack.

Nancy Yamamoto stood in the hallway, her phone in hand. Her arms were held down by her sides, ramrod stiff, her fists clenched. She was looking down at the two men's legs, blushing furiously.

Her skin was tanned lightly, with a healthy sheen of some form of moisturizer or oil lightly covering her body. Her breasts, ever perky, were capped by what appeared to be rock hard nipples; similarly, her utterly bare nethers glistened in the artificial light from something that looked far more lewd than mere oil. Her hair cascaded behind her in a tight braid, ending just above her bare ass.

She was utterly naked, with absolutely nothing covering her body except for a steadily growing blush.

"Oh jesus, I'm sorry." Both Mr. Winters and Jimmy turned around, with Jimmy reaching for the robe sitting on the coffee table nearby. "I didn't know you were already in costume, Ms. Yamamoto."

"I, uh, I... about that..." Nancy muttered, not looking up. "I..."

"Here, here, I'm sorry." Jimmy muttered as he turned around and blindly opened and pushed the blue robe onto Nancy's body.

"No, wait, don't touch me with..."

Jimmy's hands snapped closed as the fabric vanished in his hands. With a start, Jimmy turned to look for the suddenly missing garment.

Nancy looked away, at the wall nearby. The robe was gone.

"T... That happens every time I try to cover myself with cloth." Nancy said, moving her arms across her skin but being very careful not to hide her breasts from view. "Clothes, coats, towels, sheets... hell, it even happened with my curtains."

Mr. Winters was the first to speak up. "What exactly are you saying, Nancy?"

"I... I can't hide my body, if I try to move my hands over my ... regions... I get zapped. It also happens if I sit down with my legs too close together or crossed." Nancy ground her heel into the tile under her feet. "My... regions... they... tingle. It's getting worse and worse the longer the day goes, and I can't touch them because I get zapped that way, too."

"How... did this..."

"Last night. I think they did it to me last night. There was a light and I passed out, and I woke up... like this."

"Just like Natalie." Jimmy muttered under his breath.

"No!" Nancy said, still refusing to look up. "She can at least wear something! I can't wear anything! The only thing that didn't vanish on me was jewelry! I even tried tin foil! Nothing works!"

"Jewelry?" Mr. Winters said, smiling. "That might just be an interesting merchandising path."

Nancy looked up, staring at Mr. Winters. "You're... you're thinking of something like that at a time like this?!"

Mr. Winters smiled and walked next to Nancy, patting her on the back and gently leading her towards the writer's lounge. "Of course, of course. After all, you know what they say, 'The Show Must Go On?' After all, what else are you going to do with this ... condition?"

He didn't slow down as he gently lead Nancy towards the door, although his face split into a sneer for a split second. "... Write a book, perhaps?"
