Dragons

The vast majority of dragons strongly appreciate bondage witches: metallic dragons love their discipline and absolute physical devotion whereas chromatics wyrms lust after their vulnerability and the magical power of their submissiveness. All dragons, whatever their sex, have a powerful fetish about beautiful young girls in bondage and damsels in distress. Whatever their original social rank, the female prisoners of dragons are always referred as “princesses”, as dragons consider their slaves/pets far above the rest of mortals. If possible, any dragon will take a beautiful bard girl as “princess” over any other girl. The common trait in any dragons-princesses relationships is the strict and permanent arm bondage princesses are put into. Each and every dragon love its princess her arms strictly restrained behind her back. Chromatic dragons often demand that attractive, high-born maidens be offered to them to be kept as slave-girls, hostages or sexual toys, some chromatic dragons even starting large “collection of princesses”. Those poor girls are kept bound as lifelong prisoners, experiencing a miserable life of captivity, humiliation and abuse. Chromatic dragons also customarily kidnap young girls, for their pleasure as well as a way to remind people of their capricious power; bard girls and dancers being primary targets for princessdom, as well as any really attractive wanabe-do-gooders.

Despite their alignment, metallic dragons demand as well young females of high breeding as payment for past debts or as tribute for alliance; if the royal family is unwilling to send their cherished daughter, the dragon is likely to come and collect the prize himself. Among some noble families, there’s a tradition that, each and every generation, the most attractive young maiden of the lineage has to become the princess of the local allied dragon. If beauty is paramount, virtue and good manners are mandatory and strictly enforced if necessary. Furthermore, some metallic dragons have been known to abduct young girls, the maidens thus kidnapped always being poor orphans left without any support or family. Most princesses trained as disciples come from this background. Other beautiful young girls, looking for love, protection or enlightment, seek out metallic dragons. The latter may accept them or send them on their way.

On the other hand, metallic dragons often treat their princesses as precious objects of art, pampered pets, lovers or pupils. These maidens are far less in jeopardy then the captives of chromatic wyrms. The treatment metallic dragons inflict on their princesses is far less violent and true, deep love may ensues. [[1]]

Nonetheless, being a princess is an absolute lifelong dedication. After having been taken or accepted by the dragon, there is no turning back for the new princess. Dragons do not take lightly on this matter: A runaway princess will always be chased down, even by her own sisters, and quickly taken back. She’s then put into stringent restraints and headed for very harsh punishment…

”Oriental” dragons are not particularly cruel or violent when dealing with their princesses but they can be extremely strict concerning discipline, obedience and formalism. Furthermore, oriental dragons often organise contests of hojo-jutsu between their princesses, the status in the lair being for a part dependant on their wrestling abilities.

Despite the differences on the issues of love and violence, all dragons keep their princesses under strict discipline. Any draconic demand is expected to be obeyed immediately without questions. Punishment for disobedience, escape or failure vary according to the dragon personality. A great red dragon will quickly devour the offender whereas a gold or a silver dragon will only put an errant lover/disciple under very tight bondage for a few hours.

It must be reiterated that all dragons have absolutely no tolerance towards what they call “princess desertion”; they consider it as betrayal: Princesses are accounted as a major part of any hoard, and wyrms react to “desertion” as violently as if they were faced with burglary or treason ! On the bright side, non-evil dragons are not known to destroy or harm their treasured pets futilely, but punishments can be terrible indeed… Specific bondage fetishes can be discerned in various dragon species: For instance it is well known that red and bronze dragons love their princess tied to posts while greens and copper ones prefer to bind them to trees. Silver, gold and white dragons are fond of metallic restraints such as cuffs, fetters or chains, their princesses hands restrained behind their back. Oriental dragons particularly appreciate their damsels tightly bound in shibari with hemp ropes whereas brass and blue dragons love their princessese hogtied under the sun. Black and shadow dragons often develop a specific fetish about tight singlegloves and leather hoods, gags and blindfolds. In this context, it is no surprise that some of the most powerful mortal bondage witches have a background as a dragon princess. The captive minstrel slave-girl of the red dragon, barely rescued by the paladin, the lover of the metallic drake, trained as a sorcerer, her hands cuffed behind her for months, all are destined for the wonders of bondage witchcraft. As a final word, it must be noted that every time a bondage witch has tried to acquire a special familiar, a pseudo-dragon has appeared as a result, another aspect of the symbiotic relationship existing between bondage witches and dragons.

Demons and Devils

Succubus, lilitu and incubus

Succubi and lilitus are perhaps the greatest fans of bondage witches in the multiverse, except for erynies: Being powerplayers incarnate, they love the concept of bondage being applied to their slave-girls as well as to themselves. A famous succubus queen is well known for owning a seraglio composed of several hundreds of bondages witches kept as slaves and bodyguards, each having been personally bound in armbinder and hood (whose leather was made out of archon skin) by the queen herself. Many succubi have been trained as bondage witches and have been sold as bondage slaves to unsuspecting lovers who quickly met an horrible fate. Succubi strongly appreciate any kind of restraints, from the most simple rope to the most exotic contraption. If incubi strongly appreciate bondage as a mean to compel female victims to submit to their horrific desires, they are very wary of bondage witches: these spirits of rape are really dismayed by attractive, seemingly helpless victims who can blast them out of existence without even moving a finger or uttering a word.

Marilith

The domineering mariliths are fond of enslaving bondage witches. Being demons, they know the dangers of keeping an hostile bondage witch and are very strict and cautious in their dealing with their slaves. They never become bondage witches (too many arms to bind…) Mariliths are peculiar in the way nearly always prefer to find and keep the extremely rare male bondage warlocks. They most often bind them with heavy chains.

Erynies

Even more than succubi, erynies lives revolves around bondage and discipline. These beautiful female devils bind and discipline mortals; they bind and discipline enemies (especially succubi), they bind and discipline lesser devils, they bind and discipline lovers, other erynies (rivals and/or lovers), and anything that has limbs. In turn, they are bound and disciplined by greater devils (lovers or masters). In this context, there is no surprise that most erynies have at least some modicum of bondage witchcraft in them… Some have total mastery, some are very good amateurs, none are ignorant. The most powerful bondage witches in the multiverse are a cadre of erynies bodyguards/pleasure-slaves of an infamous but gorgeous female archdevil. Erynies are rope and hojo-jutsu experts; they make one with their rope… any kind of rope, even one witch is tied around their bodies and limbs (though they cannot escape from it). Their styles are various and extensive, ranging from simple wrists-behind-the-back ties to elaborate shibari through hogties and ballties, suspensions etc. When they can put their magic ropes upon their delicious rivals, the succubi, they create some of the most elaborate and stringent bondage multiverse has ever seen.

Kyton

The chain devils love to chain up anything that moves, but their thirst at maiming and their ugliness make them incapable of entertaining and being bondage witches themselves.

Celestial Faëries, Feys and Elves

Celestial Faëries

Surprisingly for creatures who are the incarnation of liberty, celestial faëries are quite attracted to Bondage Witches: they are aroused by their carefree attitude toward sexuality and their creativity in all things magical. Furthermore they appreciate to see apparently helpless victims turning to powerful sorcerers capable of punishing would-be bullies. A fair number of female celestial faërie take up the mantle of Bondage Witches, revelling in the magical power and sex appeal they exude. When binding captives or lovers, eladrins often use soft silk ropes or, curiously, tight leather singlegloves in honor to one of their paragons. Celestial faëries who are Bondage Witches also prefer to be bound with silk ropes or singlegloves. It is said that a famous female faërie paragon is responsible for having created the first leather restraint: A succubus queen of a lost era was at this time a bitter enemy of the court of the Seelie. The succubus was granted powerful enchantments so that she could neither be hampered by magic, nor be restrained by any rope or any metal. The Great Faërie devised and prepared a new kind of restraint made neither of rope nor metal, but in some strong, black and shiny leather… She chased her enemy throughout the spheres and finally met the cruelly beautiful demon on the outlands. There they fought for a long time, but the celestial faërie, having been fully trained as a warrior, wrestled her into submission. Lying flat on her belly, the succubus queen had her arms forcefully bent behind her back to be encased into a leather sleeve. The sleeve was then laced and knotted extremely tight and straps were buckled over her delicate shoulders so that she could not wriggle out of it. The faërie paragon then abducted her bound and trashing captive to her fortress on her celestial abode. That was the very first use of a singleglove in the multiverse. Legend says that the succubus queen is still kept as a prisoner in the personal bedroom of the celestial champion, bound by the very same singleglove that was her demise. Though she swore long ago to turn the tables on her captor, she slowly crawls her way to redemption through strict discipline and caring, tender love.

Feys and Elves

Like the great celestial faëries, the carefree fey are surprisingly fond of bondage witches. Satyrs and nymphs particularly like their openness in matters sexual and treat them with playful friendship.

Satyrs are always on the lookout for young fey, elven or human girls willing to be tied up tight and loved roughly.

Dryads who practice bondage and take up the mantle of bondage witch only accept live vine restraints and being bound to their enchanted tree. They use their powers only to protect their groves and for oracular purposes.

Nymph A fair number of nymph have been known to take up the career of bondage witch and offer themselves as lover and adventuring companion to powerful satyr warriors, elven knights or scouts, swanmays or even nymphs rangerettes, in return for protection. Nymphs vastly prefer to bind and accept to be bound only by ropes or vines. They sometime abduct very beautiful young girls of elven or human origin, tie them up and propose them to become their bound lover for a short time. It must be added that most female fey (especially nymphs rangerettes and swanmays) actively practice a very ancient game wich is called “Catch and Capture”. This game was created by feys and elves long ago to reenact and celebrate the glorious victory of a celestial champion over a beautiful but evil demon (see above); as such, it is seen as a most sacred game. Catch and Capture is the specialty of swanmays, as well as an elvish game; it is described below. Sometime, beautiful elven or human girls (especially bards and dancing warriors and, of course, Bondage Witches) are invited by feys to participate…

Swanmays are extremely involved in the Game. This tradition helps them to hone their survival and combat skills : two clans of swanmays meet in a large swath of wilderness and organize a mock war of raids and ambushes that lasts usually one lunar month. In the context of this game, taking swan form or using magic (other than healing) is strictly forbidden as well as using weapons or otherwise causing serious harm. The objective of this game is to try and capture a maximum of “enemy” warriors, and to escape when captured. The girls captured are stringently bound with a rope or even their own belt, then they are blindfolded and gagged and spirited away to their “foes” secret encampment. There, captive girls are tied up tight to wooden posts, hands behind, and gently mocked. Each night captors celebrate a “moon-dance”; the warriors-maidens of the clan dance and sing around the bound prisoners to celebrate their “victory”, praising the captor and mocking the captive. The youngest (newly initiated) and most beautiful girls are considered choice prisoners, especially if they put up a good fight ! After the “moon-dance”, prisoners are untied from their posts and led to the private lodges by the girls who caught them. There they are fed, washed and teased and they must spend the night, wrists tied behind their backs, in the tender arms of their captor. On the morrow they are retied to the posts. Escaping captivity is considered the ultimate achievement of this game and great honour is thusly gained (especially when you leave your captor bound and gagged in her own lodge). Some contestants have even been known to get voluntarily captured so that they can try and escape… The critical moment when evasion is possible is when the prisoner is untied or retied to the post : her hands are free for a precious few seconds so she can dash for escape. Traditionally, the untying and re-tying are done by a single captor. It is considered unfair play to have multiple warriors controlling one prisoner. Swanmays are particularly adept at tying their prisoners to posts (love and play prisoners as well as true captives), binding them by their wrists behind, their waist and their ankles. They often put on cloth blindfolds and tight cleave gags to further augment their sense of vulnerability. The bonds used are most of the time simple hemp or other vegetal fibbers bindings. On the other hand swanmays have a deep hatred of people mistreating or harming their captives.

Grey elves are not particularly attracted to bondage witches: they are too dignified, self-righteous and closed-minded to accept the idea of voluntary submission and humility. Bondage witches are not likely to receive a warm welcome in their cities.

High elves, wood elves and grugach on the other hand, widely practice Catch and Capture games much like swanmays and the other female fey. Attractive human girls are sometime invited to participate, a great honor indeed (and a fair game) ! Furthermore, most initiation rites among young females involve some bondage and blindfolding ; a small number of “girls only” dances and celebrations use bindings as well [[2]]. Amongst female wizards societies of the high elves, this sometime makes some elven girls follow the training of Bondage Witch. High elves have a liking for simple wrists-behind-the-back bondage with rope, and for cloth gags and blindfolds.

Wood elves and grugachs are even more open-minded : they practice “Catch and Capture”, and perform the same celebrations and initiations than high elves do. Wood and wild elves and have a longstanding tradition of capture, binding and escape training for their young females. Thus, binding, hojo-jutsu and escape contests have become common games and mandatory combat training among their female warrior societies. During their youth, these elven girls often pair as lovers, one dominant and one submissive; the submissive one, if being trained as a wizard having to learn how to use her magic while bound and gagged. She thus gains the abilities of a Bondage Witch. Wood elves and grugach prefer strict arm bondage with hemp rope, in a style often reminiscent of shibari. They also like post-ties in the swanmay fashion.

Drows: Ah ! drows and bondage… Drows are definitively the most BDSM oriented mortal race one can encounter. For drows, bondage is simply THE normal way to have sex or to establish a romantic relationship. Symbolically, their spider-goddess is the ultimate dominatrix and she binds enemies, victims and lovers altogether with her strands. The female is always the dominant partner, and, if interracial sex occurs, the drow is always, always the dominant. From any drow point of view, other races are only fit to be victims or slaves, the preferred sexual slaves being human females: males are too dangerous, elves are simply tortured then killed, and other humanoids have no appeal. In such a society, curiously, bondage witches seldom appears: Human females and drow males are seldom left the opportunity to develop such dangerous skills and, if found out, are quickly killed. Only when a powerful matriarch wants to educate a favourite female vassal as a lover and as a spy/assassin does a drow bondage witch appears. Those witches are very powerful and extremely dangerous to cope with. A special cadre of priestess of the spider goddess have been trained as Bondage Witches. Their role is mostly to entertain senior high priestesses, sometime to spy, but their existence allow submissive priestesses to find a useful role in a rather domineering clergy. Drows prefer to use metal restraints except for priestesses who love using spider silk ropes on their partners and victims. Every drow love to put leather hoods on their slaves…

Genii

Djinn: Djinni dislike bondage as a whole, being spirits of air and freedom (spiritual as well as physical). The symbolism of bondage and submission unnerves them. As a consensual game of temporary enslavement, it reminds them the more serious games played by efreeti, their bitter enemies. When enslavement is for real, it enrages them terribly.

Efreet: Curiously whereas efreeti dislike Bondage Witches, on the other hand, they are universally fond of bondage. True slaver to the core, they love subjugating and humiliating mortals (especially beautiful young girls). New female captives are customarily bound cruelly tight with chains, then paraded naked and collared in the streets of the City of Brass. An efreet status depends on the number and beauty of slave-girls he owns. Beautiful mortal girls beware! If caught by an efreet master, you can look for a long life of cruel luxury in a harem, permanently bound in chains forevermore… Curiously, as efreeti strongly value female beauty and they always protect their slave-girls from harm – assaults and mental debasements are another matter. Efreeti are particularly connoisseurs of chains and fetters, often forging special bracelets in unusual metals.[[3]] For all their cruelty, these restraints are said to be beautiful, quite comfortable as well as totally inescapable. It is said that a large number of gold and silver dragons buy some sets of mithril or adamantite restraints custom made specially for their beloved princesses. Maybe, Aurifix has been made by efreeti craftsmen…[[4]] Efreeti themselves really, really hate to be enslaved and bound; it is clearly a one sided relationship, and they experience no greater pleasure than to enslave former mistresses – this would-be sorceress may expects a particularly harsh treatment… Even more than drows, efreeti have no patience for efficient and dangerous Bondage Witches. A bound slave duty is to obey and remain submissive, not to force her master back in a small brass bottle !

Daos behave and think much like efreeti, they are known to have invented some very strange stone contraptions.

Marids are much more like djinni, as they dislike mental, legal as well as physical constraints.

Others: Centaurs and Yuan-ti

Centaurs

Freedom loving centaurs nonetheless have many bondage related fantasies. They are particularly fond of mock kidnappings and abductions. Most of the time, this occurs between consenting young lovers as a pre-arranged hunt game. The female makes some escape, while her dominant lover (male or female) awaits for some time (ranging from minutes to hours). Then, the hunt is on : The pursuer takes a rope and runs after his/her quarry. He/she must track her, stalk and chase her then, catch her, all alone… When the “prey” is caught, the hunter must wrestle her into submission, bind her wrists behind her back, and take her back, leashed, to the camp where all of the hunter friends greets the hunter and jeers the captive. Then the two lovers leave the camp for the night… Sometime, the quarry is not a centaur girl but a young fey, elven or human scout or rangerette looking for a rough game or a harsh evasion training. The program of the chase is similar but the initial delay is far longer (up to a full day) and, after being taken back hogtied to the encampment, the young girl is not carried away. On the contrary she becomes the focus of a nocturnal ceremony where she’s tied to a post. On the morning she’s freed and given some presents for her “bravery” before leaving. Centaurs use simple wrists crossed behind the back ties upon centaurettes though they usually hogtie mortals biped girls. Their favourite bindings are long rawhide thongs. As centaurs usually aren’t interested in magic, they have no opinion about bondage witches except that they find them very attractive.

Yuan-ti

Yuan-ti have a passion for enslaving non-reptilian humanoids. They especially like females as they are reputedly more docile, and for their attractiveness (yuan-ti are collector of art and consider their favourite slaves as such but sometime, they even slake their dark carnal passions with slave-girls). Their mind-control consists of magical and psionic influence as well as enforced drug addiction; nonetheless, the snake-people love to restrain physically their slaves, at least in order to humiliate them or to make them helpless during sexual intercourses. After having put their slave-girls in bondage, yuan-ti lift their mind-control just to appreciate their despair at falling from mental enslavement to physical captivity. The now fully conscious poor girls are then subjected to all manners of humiliating ordeals and rapes, before being forced back into mental thraldom. This perverse game can last for years before the victim is finally sacrificed to some evil idol or horribly transformed into some hybrid abomination. As they are able to control prisoners with mental powers, Yuan-ti are maybe the only creatures known to keep really enslaved Bondage Witches. When having to decide of a particular form of bondage, yuan-ti display a perverse tendency towards heavy, long term bondage. They nearly always choose to put their slave-girls in tight singlegloves and hoods made of strong, shiny black leather. The singleglove symbolises her degradation, the girl losing her arms, that is her humanoid power, while her hood symbolises that she still only has a weak humanoid, fangless head . Furthermore cinched in a black leather corset and a sort of tight leg-binder (just like a single glove, but adapted for legs), the poor prisoner looks more like a snake than a human. The terrified damsel is then left totally helpless, limbless, blind, mute and deaf. Now fully conscious, she awaits her fate, knowing each time, that it will be worse than death… Some girls, after weeks of this cruel treatment, start to long perversely for these “sessions” as they become willing slaves. After a few years, they become mentally similar to their masters and beg for being transformed into snake-woman. This wish is often fulfilled by their masters and they start an entirely new life… Yuan-ti easily control captive by ways far more powerful than simple bindings. Therefore, they see no problem at training their slave-girls as bondage witch. They just adore the poetic irony at turning the powers of a mind-controlled or desperately addicted bondage witch against former allies and friends. It is a very efficient trap that involves a dominated witch, tied up as a “false hostage”, just to turn against her former friends and would be rescuers. Yuan-ti also often use the oracular powers of the bondage witches when the girls are put into heavy bondage.
