I love the idea of enduring masochistic pain and humiliation in the name of flamboyance. What if the flamboyance extended to nudity or even submitting sexually to anyone at any time. "I am so rich/powerful/important that I can casually toss my extravagantly beautiful body to the masses as a sex object and it doesn't really matter." Imagine a person so important that you would respect and revere her even if she were bound naked and giving you a blow job.
