Ya' gotta' love the lizard in the foreground, taking a nice, pleasant sip from his soft drink and eyeing the "scenery." What's the hanging starfish-monster?

Just can't get enough of this one. My question is: What does she have to back up her "just-you-try-and-make-me-submit" attitude? Is it false bravado? A bluff? "You might take me by force, but I'll never give in," and that's enough of a victory for her? Hmmmm. Maybe I'd better look at some others for a while... =)

Suggestion: Why not try for the best of both worlds? Currently, with every picture you have a link to a higher resolution image--include a link to the image with a more thorough explanation of what we're looking at. That way, those of us who want to "speculate," can do so. Personally, I'm interested in as much information as I can get.

* Nods * Yes, Faile. your comments are great, adn it is as grigbertz says - we have been restraining ourselves a bit. But now that the genie is out of the bottle it seems to be a good time to ask; do you people want verbose texts, or slim ones?

First of all, thanks for all the great comments! What Pecknose meant here was: We've kept the *official* description text to a minimum, to *encourage* speculation in the comments. Please continue posting!

(This somehow got posted in the NetHack gallery) Well now, I don't want to be violating any rules of conduct, nor do I want to ruin anything for anyone else. My comments are meant only as an inspiration--the kind I would hope for for my own art. If I've said too much, I apologize. I can reserve my comments and questions for an email to "artist@grigbertz.com" if that would be better. Or I could--"sniff"--stop making them, if I'm really being bothersome. =) The bottom line: I really like your art (theme and style), and I want to see it continue.

Faile, your questions demand and inspire answers. Question is, do you want these answers, or do you prefer to speculate? We've kept descriptive text to a minimum to give the imagination free reign here.

Whoops, somehow my comment for the Wolflord piece got posted here. Sorry. I do like this one, though. The statuette (fountain?) is great!

Here's a question: With the blindfold on, is she aware that it's an animal ("unicorn") doing the stripping? I like how the scarves (?) are all different patterns, and the way she's holding her legs suggests she's at least a little... pleased... with her situation.
