That’s great to hear! I would love to hear back from you after any comment, even if it’s an “I don’t know” type of answer :) I like speculating, but I’m most interested in your own interpretation/intended stories. So, if I left questions on much older pics of yours (looking for context/backstory), would you be notified of those, or is it only on your recent uploads?

Cliffhanger
I'm trying to piece the story connecting the sketches back together, thanks to your comments.
Ariel expected something like this to happen, but is confident she can get her way in the end.
I played out Ariel's adventures in a roleplaying mini-campaign years ago and my memory is a bit fuzzy on the details. I do have sketches of Ariel and Nena escaping together. Watch this space for further developments...

Comments speculating on the story behind the pictures are among my favorites. I check for new comments every day and read them all, but I kinda suck at replying, I tend to reply only when I have something solid to contribute, sorry about that.

Ah, I see! I think Ariel must be pretty mad, having gone to the dwarves for help, only to be held prisoner instead. It’s very noble of her to want to save the other girls at the same time as herself, but I feel as though there is no solution here! To me, the dwarves have ultimate control over her, what with their magic restraints. Is there anything she can do to get herself (and the others) free?

Chaotic Good vs. Lawful Greedy
When Ariel first arrives to The Dwarf Realm she is tied as in the "Nena" drawing, stylish but inconvenient. The dwarves know the secret to change her bonds any way they want. They like Ariel well enough to want to keep her, which is a problem in itself. As for their grumpy demeanor, that's just the way they always look. Ariel on the other hand does NOT approve of their abducting other girls and will not escape herself until she can free them as well.

Thanks! I always appreciate stuff like that. A question, though, about this phrase: “At one point she got bound in such a way that not even magic could release her arms.“ So this is why she visits the dwarves—in Ariel meets the mountain king, is this the way she is bound? Or have her restraints been intensified by the dwarves already at that point? And why do the dwarves not like her?

Hey Grigbertz, is there any specific backstory for this series of Ariel/dwarf pictures you’ve been uploading recently? She looks like a prisoner to me, but I would love to know more!
