Ariel and the Dwarven Treasure Hunters

Thank you!

Thanks! I always appreciate stuff like that. A question, though, about this phrase: “At one point she got bound in such a way that not even magic could release her arms.“ So this is why she visits the dwarves—in Ariel meets the mountain king, is this the way she is bound? Or have her restraints been intensified by the dwarves already at that point? And why do the dwarves not like her?

Ariel and the Dwarven Treasure Hunters

Backstory!

There's actually lots and lots of backstory. I've added some brief notes to the Thorn Album page (Scroll down to the bottom).

Ariel and the Dwarven Treasure Hunters

Backstory?

Hey Grigbertz, is there any specific backstory for this series of Ariel/dwarf pictures you’ve been uploading recently? She looks like a prisoner to me, but I would love to know more! Thanks ;)

Creative Glueing

Possible serialization

Very interesting concept, there is still much more that can be done, dunno, two girls glued to each other, that's always nice.

The Pillory at Nighttime

Lyonesse

I must have been thinking of that story when I drew this piece. The monster fits Twisk's third encounter perfectly even though the surroundings don't. Thanks for reminding me of my favorite scene from the book. This week's new drawing will feature Twisk and Sir Jaucinet :)
