A question, though, about this phrase: “At one point she got bound in such a way that not even magic could release her arms.“ So this is why she visits the dwarves—in Ariel meets the mountain king, is this the way she is bound? Or have her restraints been intensified by the dwarves already at that point? And why do the dwarves not like her?

I must have been thinking of that story when I drew this piece. The monster fits Twisk's third encounter perfectly even though the surroundings don't. Thanks for reminding me of my favorite scene from the book. This week's new drawing will feature Twisk and Sir Jaucinet :)
