An Intricate Involvement Date: 2009-04-24 Nina and Jennie chained up on their bunk bed for the amusement of the slavers. Actually this set-up was suggested by Ellinor, as the slavers' original idea mainly involved flogging with electric cables. It seemed like a (relatively) good idea at the time, but now the question is how to remove cable ties with no cutting tools in sight.
The Chain Girls have Landed Date: 2009-04-19 Having outwitted the slavers, using the Escape Pod to flee from the crashing ship, Elise, Cecilia and their friends feel rather pleased with themselves.

However, stranded on a primitive world with no means to undo electronically locked durasteel manacles, their troubles have just begun.

... but at least the Chain Girls allowed her to do penance as their personal maid.

Close Friends Date: 2011-11-14 Li and Renée
Lunch at The Club Date: 2011-12-10 Li, Freed, Cydak and Adana share lunch at the "club".

Li and Renee were bought to provide Gregor, the body-styling magician, with a fetching sign above his workshop. This workshop was in a reasonably large town house, but when the girls started dragging a lot of friends over, more space was needed. Fortunately there was an unused house next door, caught up in a century-old legal inheritance dispute. This house was cleaned and fixed up, and serve as a gathering place for all the strange individuals surrounding Li and Renee.

Adana was one of the first customers that Li and Renee provided for Gregor, and is very pleased with her cat-shape.

Freed, at a drunken party, got caught up in a game of dares when Renee's Metal Magic ran amok, and is thus forever tied up in the manner depicted.

Cydak was briefly turned into a smurf by a drunken Li at the same party, but unlike Freed, he reverted to normal.

Mirena's Metal Wings Date: 2011-10-08

Renée's and Li's friend Mirena trying out her magic wings. Powerful magic sometimes comes with severe disadvantages.

The story: Li and Renée went to a giant fancy-dress party and drank and ate things that made them quite giggly and irresponsible - but also made their magic manifest in unpredictable and oddly powerful ways. Li's illusive reinforcements or substitutions of others costumes became oddly real, and Renée's metal magic made strongly magical and permanent constructions. One caught in this was Merena, who wished for the ability to fly. Drunkenly, Renée fulfilled this wish, but not quite in the way that either Merena nor Renée expected.

But the wise fortune teller Madame Mikh told Merena that this enchantment would bring her good fortune, if she just acompanied Li and Renée on a small quest...

...where she met a nest of evil Harpies, whose nasty curse she just broke, with a little help from her friends.

Chain Girls Logotype Date: 2011-10-24

Renée and Li were purchased to be a living shop sign for Doctor Glas and his assistant Gregor, and were suspended above the door of their magic shop. Soon they discovered that the good Doctor was a sham, with Gregor doing all the work. The Doctor was kicked out, and the girl started helping turning the little, failing shop selling magic transformations into something that might become the core of a minor magical financial empire.

The front of Li and the rear of Renée, tied together with their eternal chains, still serves as symbol for this fledgeling organization, though - even if it is just a logotype and and not the girls themselves.
