These are my current favorite places for Zombie Hunting in Second Life.
All of them use the Grim Combat System, a.k.a. GCS.
Not all of them get the traffic they deserve. Please give them a try!

Places I visit whenever I log on
Zombie Raceway
Beautiful, highly detailed and varied scenery. It actually makes sense to use a vehicle to get to the quest locations.
The zombies are pretty tough. I seem to die here more than anywhere else.
Several repeatable quests. (last count: 11) The quests are challenging, without grinding. The quest givers actually give useful hints when you prod them.
Excellent racetrack with lap timer. You'd better swerve for zombies!
1 full sim - Isle of Clarity - Moderate. The rules don't disallow nudity in the Zombie area. The sim owner didn't seem to mind either.

Butchers Hollow
Awesome zombie action for all levels of player, newb to expert.
Dozens of fun repeatable quests. (last count: 35+).
Zombie spawn placement is excellent. The action intensity depends on where you go and you never risk becoming bored by too little action, nor tired from too much.
This is definitely a good place to start out for new players. It's also a great place for expert players to farm XP :).
1 full sim. 1 level + some smaller skyboxes -
Windy Bay - Adult

Valon's Zombie Assault
Atmospheric swamp with rotting wooden buildings.
Unlike most other zombie zones it uses the day/night cycle, which works quite well here. Varying action intensity, but you can't relax anywhere outside the safe zones.
Quite laggy in the water-filled areas, but OK elsewhere. Go southwest to the Fun Fair to fight vast hordes of enemies.
Several standard-type repeatable quests. (last count: 10+)
One full sim -
Breakfree - Adult
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Breakfree/209/40/27
Small Town USA
No quests but instead you get to destroy stuff, scoring points in a separate mini-game.
Crush windows! Blow up gas tanks! Shoot mailboxes and teller machines! One minute later they are good as new. The zombie killing action is also quite satisfying.
Don't miss Small Town II, the tougher area. Reached by sim teleporter.
Note: Only GCS weapons able to shoot bullets work with the mini-game. Set your ranged weapon's Bullets to "GCS damage" before teleporting here as the zone setting doesn't allow it for some reason.
One full sim, 2 levels -
Frozen - Moderate. The rules don't disallow nudity.

Places I keep coming back to for action, questing or both
Slender
Intense non-stop Zombie action. Difficulty: high. No ranged attack zombies.
Plenty of quests. Great for farming XP and coins.
Uses the day/night cycle
Don't let Slender Man sneak up to you!
1 full sim - Ruby Sunset - Adult
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ruby%20Sunset/16/10/2972
Survivors
A.k.a. Survivors: Will you survive the Zombie Apocalypse? Or die like the rest.
Excellent for zombie action. Medium to high level.
All types of monsters can be found here: aliens, military zombies, goblins, orcs, etc.
Several repeatable quests. (last count: 16+)
Half a sim - Torn - Moderate. The rules allow nudity. <-- check this
Torn/140/246/22 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Torn/140/246/22 Torn/140/246/22 <-- Try it
The Condemned
Loads of zombies. Difficulty: high
3 simultaneous kill quests 300, 450 and 600 These can actually be done in less than 20 minutes.
Some other areas as well, including one PVP.
One full sim. Several levels, including one PVP - Miracle Island - Adult
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Miracle%20Island/126/204/1508
Shadow Zombies
Big city with lots of quests.
1 full sim - Lorena - Adult
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lorena/230/28/3007
Places I recommend for the story and scenery
IYC Aftermath
Dense jungle and some run-down military installations. Much work has obviously been spent on the scenery. This gives the place a consistent feel and makes it fun to explore.
Unfortunately the textures are mostly very dark, which makes the environment hard to see, even in full daylight. At least on my screen.
Plenty of quests but somewhat slow on the zombie action. Many of the quests are quite hard, as you have to find unique items hidden in the greenery.
Going here lands you in a nexus where the sim teleporter sign is sometimes slow to rez.
A very good place to start for beginners.
1 full sim - IYC Addictions - Adult

Bates Motel Apocalypse
Wonderful re-creation of the "Psycho" movie set with Zombies.
No quests, but much to explore.
Verfinstern - Moderate
