These are my current favorite places for Zombie Hunting in Second Life.
All of them use the Grim Combat System, a.k.a. GCS.
Since my preferred action attire is less than decent, I have only listed zones allowing nudity.
Many of these places don't get the traffic they deserve. Please give them a try!
My Favourites
These are the places I visit whenever I log on.
Timed Death Terminal
A.k.a. TDT. Full name: Timed Death Terminal GCS at Brave Island
Highest difficulty. Even the beginners' area is brutal.
Satisfying action for experienced players.
Lots of levels each with its own theme: Western, City, Moon, Fantasy Underground, Underwater
Butchers Hollow
Awesome zombie action for all levels of player, beginnerto expert.
Dozens of fun repeatable quests (last count: 35+). Most of them involve characters from "The Walking Dead".
Zombie spawn placement is excellent. The action intensity depends on where you go and you never risk becoming bored by too little action, nor tired from too much.
This is definitely a good place to start out for new players. It's also a great place for expert players to farm XP :).
In addition to the full size ground level there are several skyboxes: 2 lvl 18 grind areas, 1 Star Trek space station.
1 full sim. - Windy Bay - Adult

The Undead
Well-made run-down town complete with background story. The abandoned amusement park is particularly beautiful, although the tall grass can cause a bit of graphics lag.
Plenty of interesting quests. Some quite hard.
Zombie spawning is of easy to medium difficulty.
Exception: Brutal Grind area in the school top floor. MW corner of the map.
Full sim. One level
Zombie Land USA
Modern city with several quests. You also get to destroy stuff, scoring points in a separate mini-game.
Crush windows! Blow up gas tanks! Shoot mailboxes and teller machines! One minute later they are good as new. The zombie killing action is also quite satisfying.
Note: Only GCS weapons able to shoot bullets work with the mini-game. Set your ranged weapon's Bullets to "GCS damage".
A Beach/airport area is under development. Reached by sim teleporter.
One full sim, 2 levels - Baldorya - Moderate. Nudity is allowed.

Places offering excellent gameplay.
Untamed Zombies
City with lots of fun quests and creative use of terrain. Good for both beginners and experts.
Half a sim -
Symbiotic - Adult. Nudity is allowed.

Survivors
A.k.a. Survivors: Will you survive the Zombie Apocalypse? Or die like the rest.
Excellent for zombie action. Medium to high level. All types of monsters can be found here: aliens, military zombies, goblins, orcs, etc.
Several repeatable quests. (last count: 16+)
Half a sim - Torn - Moderate. The rules allow nudity.

Bermuda Brainbiters
High difficulty. Sci-Fi theme.
Most of the Zombie action is onboard a space station. Go to "level 1" or "Reactor" for Z
Go to command and take a teleporter to the grinding arena.
Just one quest giver so far.
Igavesti Deadly Issues
Half a sim. Well-made run-down city.
Lots and lots of well thought out quests. Well thought out, but a bit hard to turn in as the quest givers' names don't appear on the HUD. Easy difficulty. Zombie spawning is fairly slow.
Shadow Zombies
Big city with lots of quests.
1 full sim - Lorena - Adult

Story and Scenery
Places worthy of thorough exploration.
Aya's Death City

Lots of spawns in one location
No Quests
Raccoon City
Full name: Zombie Massacre Raccoon City
Medium difficulty
No quests
