Elves
The last of a dying race... Elves are vain and arrogant, and live for decadent pleasures. More than a thousand years ago the Elves waged a genocidal civil war. The only ones to suvive were the Mordehel. There are legends of the lost Eledhel, the good elves, but they are all dead. Bwah ha ha!
The Moredhel have much in common with Drow and Melniboneans. They live in high towers or castles. They are not good neighbours and often raid human settlements for slaves and supplies. Mordehel have pale skin with dark hair and violet eyes. The are tall and graceful.
Elves wear full chain or plate armor. The elven knights ride learge, graceful steeds with plate barding. The Witch Elves wear little armor and combine grace and frenzy.
Harrowed
These corporeal undead are typically cursed with eternal unlife. Their look vary a great deal, deoending on how they died and how long they remained in their graves before they became harrowed. They require neither air, food or sleep. Most of them do sleep however, often for years or even centuries. This lets them escape into oblivion for a time. Dreamless sleep is better than a waking eternity.
Powers: Death Resistance (quite hard to kill) Common: Regeneration, Inevitable comeback. Disads: None, but many look really ugly.
They are not driven by their instincts like the Wamphyri, but they still have normal feelings. A long unlife has left most of them twisted and bitter as a result.
Most were mighty warriors or sorcerers in life. They can use any Chi powers in death, and are often much more powerful than in life.
Walking Dead
This includes skeletons, zombies and other lower undead. They can be created by sorcery or higher undead. They are easily controlled by higher undead, such as Harrowed and Wamphyri.
Wamphyri
These predatory undead feed on the living. Some wamphyri feed on fear or pleasure, but most need blood. They are much like living humans, but stronger, faster and more passionate.
Powers: Regeneration, Blood Drain, Abysmal Spines Common: Domination, Majesty, Inevitable Comeback Various physical power related to Transformation (armor, wings, etc). Disads: Sunlight (extra negative dice). Lords usually have Transformation, Corruption. They cannot take dammage immunity: Influence, they are far to passionate.
These are very much creatures of passion and instinct. They live for pleasure, and find it in decadent sex, cruel manipulation of others or simply feeding and killing.
As Wamphyri grow older, they inevitably gain some control over their instincts. The hunger (for whatever) is always there, but it is under control. Those that cannot master their insticts eventually degenerate into pleasure seeking protoplasmic blob (the Spawn) or terrible predatory animals that kill everything they encounter. The latter are hunted and killed by the Wampyri Lords, the former sometimes kept as pleasure beasts.
The Wamphyri have latent shapeshifting powers which must be mastered. As they grow older, they learn transformation, and many physical abilities related to it (wings, tentacles, etc).
