At the hospital, Camille Reichenbach shows signs of improvement. She seduces NurseAlexandra in the shower. NurseAlexandra reports to Headnurse Cornbelt, who doesn't exactly disapprove, though she does punish NurseAlexandra for breaking the rules.
NurseAlexandra goes to musical with Nurse Claire from work - and afterwards takes her home and seduces her. Phoenix goes with her steady, Ayrtan Davis, and Sonia Wight goes with her steady, Miro Hishima . At the show, Judas White, an old acquaintance of Sonia Wight from the time before Dark City, shows up with Helena King on his arm. Both wear City Hall pins. Sonia speaks to him - he works with Power Line maintenance, which she finds highly interesting. She arranges an interview at city hall for possible employment. Before they go, there is a small scene where Miro Hishima is in a posing contest with a competing Prettyboy - and winns partly because of Sonia Wight's act as a supporting girlfriend.
Miro Hishima , Ayrtan Davis, Sonia Wight and Phoenix visit the Pinnacle Technologies ruin on Level 51. There they notice that the cultists have changed their looks - they now all wear gas masks. They also have a new leader - Warder Girl - a buxom lady who never shows her face. The mirror shade gas mask she wears is disconcerting. As they approach the Chosen One, she gives ominous warnings about a coming mating or swarming, and claims to know that Demon Alpha is coming for her. When scanning for danger, Sonia Wight senses a new ability in the Chosen One - she can now control her hair and use it as tentacles. Despite a telepathic warning to Phoenix, she moves to close, and is pinned against the bars of the cage and fondled by the Chosen One - though nothing really comes of it. The entire situation in eerie and ominous.
The next day, Sonia Wight goes to the interview, and negotiates a freelancer contract with city hall. Noting is settled, but there is a meeting of kindred spirits.
