Sonia Wight and
Mistress Alexandra have to flee the demons who captured
Phoenix, but soon rally and try to go on the offensive. A combination of their mental powers show them a trail.
Phoenix awakens spiked to a cross, with
Demon Gamma gloating over her. She made several informative questions later,
Phoenixlearns a lot of why the demons haunt her - it appears she caused the destruction of the demons' world.
Demon Beta goes away to plot, and
Phoenix manages to telepathically take over a minor demon, which lets her explore her surroundings and get at least partially away from the cross. This allows
Sonia Wight to establish telepathic contact with her. Together, they plot an escape teleport, but this requires
Phoenix to leave her limbs behibd on the cross. The demon saws her limbs off, and
Sonia Wight teleports her to safety. Curtain call.
