Chute 404

One of the main Level Chutes of Dark City, and a huge Power Line. Chute 404 runns through entertainment and upper-class residential areas; on Level 51, this is Sector 23. This Level Chute is used for much inter-level traffic, so the areas close to the chute are cosmopolitan and full of fortune-seekers from lower levels and slummers from higher levels.
Traffic lines grind endlessly up and down through the chute. At each level intersection, there are balconies with restaurants, hotels and other upscale entertainment facilities.
